		<description>My personal experience: up to 5th form, learnt the sciences &amp; maths in BM: Matematik Tambahan, Fizik, Kimia, the works. Then suddenly in 6th form, I was doing A-Levels and everything was then known as Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry. Definitely there was a struggle, at least for a few months at the start. However, a good grasp of the language made the difference, so that I could quickly get used to Sodium instead of Natrium, mass instead of jisim (did I get that right, it&#039;s been 20 yrs?!!)  etc etc.

Another thing that came to mind: how about those Malaysian students that were sent to Germany, France, Japan, Ukraine? Someone learning technical subjects (engineering, medicine etc) at the tertiary level in a language other than English - how is s/he going to impart his/her knowledge to the masses back home??!</description>
