You see, I have been having this wheezing sound on my chest for sometimes but it usually not very serious… but it getting louder and I’m worried I’m getting asthma or something… The first time I seek for medication this year was somewhere in February… I went to a private clinic near my office. The doctor seem to be very experience… he gave me few advices regarding how to take care my health… like he was giving me a crash medical consultant interview course…

The wheezing sound usually appears in the middle of the night or early morning… the funny thing is, I don’t have breathing problem with the wheezing… I can breath just as usual… how do I know it getting bad?… well, first the sound getting louder, but it don’t really worries me coz it only happen during the night. Then the worse feeling comes… I feel like my lungs full of water or bubble… I still can breath properly but I feel drown or chocked with the water in my lung… I don’t even know if there are water in my lung… I just feel like there are water inside… probably I should get medical teaching course so that I can explain better…

I get better after taking some medication… a week supply of antibiotics. But then somewhere in May, it comes back again… so I went and seek medication from the same doctor. The doctor said, if I still not cured after I complete my medication, then I have to get an X-Ray… I was worried… is this going to be very bad?… After a week… which means I finished my antibiotics, the wheezing and ‘water’ inside my lungs gone…. But it came back again!!!… This time it started when I was in Tawau last month, end of August… I guess it was caused by the bad air quality inside the hotel room… I was sneezing and coughing one night… I have to make hot tea at 3am just to calm my sneeze… After the journey, I tried to hold on to myself although the wheezing came back… but it getting louder and the ‘water’ came back… So last Monday I have no choice but to seek medication… but this time I did not go to the same doctor coz that clinic do not have the X-Ray facilities.

This time, since I took a day leave, I went to my regular clinic at Donggongon near my home… Hilltop Clinic. Why regular clinic?… Well, ever since I started working, I only go to this clinic… but I rarely go to clinic coz I rarely get sick… but this year I went to the clinic near my office instead of this… the reason I change clinic was not of the distance or convenience, but becoz I don’t like to see different doctors. Previously, when I go to Hilltop Clinic, I only saw 3 doctors… which happen to be the owners… They have 3 clinics I think… and they rotate taking care the clinics I guess But after sometimes I don’t see these 3 doctors anymore… well, I usually go at night or after office, around 6pm. The doctor during those time are locums… I believe they are from the government hospitals and doing part time there. I really don’t like it coz they seem to be not experience… ok, I don’t know anything about medical management course but I don’t like it… I prefer to see the same doctor, the doctor who knows my medical history.

Anyways, this time I decided to go back there. I went there around 12pm and the ‘original’ doctor is on duty… yeahhh… Unfortuntely the Donggongon clinic do not have the X-Ray machine… but their main clinic at Luyang has. I asked the nurse what time the Luyang clinic close for lunch, she said 1pm… so I rush to Luyang and reach there around 12.40pm… I approached the counter and asked if I have a chance to see the doctor before lunch time coz there a number of patients waiting. She said should be no problem… and I told her I should have my record here since I came here once a long… long time ago… and it turn out that first visit was somewhere in 2003…

I told the ‘original’ doctor about my predicament… by the way, there are only 2 ‘original’ doctors left since one of them no longer partnered with them. When I told about the history, I tried my best not to tell him which clinic I attended before… but somehow he know the doctor at the end… The doctor check my chest and back using stethoscope… then gave me a worried look… he said I might be forming asthma!!!… arrrggg………………… then I only can take X-Ray at 2pm coz they X-Ray people are going for lunch since it is already 1.20pm… I came back at 2.15pm and took my X-Ray… after the doctor examine my X-Ray, he said my lungs seem to be fine… but a little bit of infections at the bottom of my lungs… emmm… he gave 5 tablets of special antibiotics… he said it is special… and two other type of tablets… I told him I need to be cured fast and do not want it to come back since I need to climb Mount Kinabalu next month… he said he can give me an injections… I don’t know what type of injection but I took it anyway…. it way on my left hand. And so far, I feel ok… I already finish my medication… we see how after this… I really hope the infections or what ever they are, are gone for good…

Then 3 months later you received a summon… your very first traffic summon of your whole life… through the post office… yes, the summon is sent to you through a registered mail… the summon said you have exceeded the 90 km/h speed limit on the route… dammm… now you realize the speed limit is only 90 km/h. OK, never mind, let’s just be a good citizen… comply the speed limit from that day and pay the summon too… and great, they even give you 50% discount for paying the summon from the RM300.

But two weeks letter, you received another registered mail… and this time, there are 7 summons inside!!! Holly craps… the total is RM1,650!!!

If they have stopped me immediately on my first offence and informed me about the speed limit of that route, I would have not accumulated those 7 summons continuously!!! So I got very upset…. I did not pay the summons…  until today!!!… that was at the end of 2006 when I received all the summons.

But now, they are giving us dateline… if summons are not paid by 1st March 2011, there will be no more discount and those who are renewing their road tax will not be able to do it… they need to clear all their summons first!!!

So, I check my summon through the online service a few days ago… I want to see how much discount I get from those 7 summons… but now, instead of 7 summons, now I have 10 summons!!!… craps… with a total of RM2,550!!!… and after discount, I still have to pay RM1,260… meaning, tomorrow I’m gonna waste RM1,260 for the 10 summons… that’s about $400 man… with that amount I can get lots of stuff… including foods… dammm… I’m gonna need to apply for payday loans just for these… and I still need a lot  more coz I’ll be outstation next week… I need some mercy here man…

The rainy season for almost 3 months already made it uncertain for us to go… unless we all have waterproof cameras then we don’t have to worry about the heavy rain… but still, the mountain will not be visible or clear when it rain and when clouds surround the mountain. But luck was with us on last Sunday… although it was raining the whole day on Saturday, I was surprised to see the sky so clear on Saturday night… I can see thousands of stars on the sky… no clouds… wow…

I woke up around 4.15am and immediately went to prepare for breakfast… all I have to do was make a cup of tea and put the hams and sausages into to microwave oven… I have fried the hams and sausages the night before… I packed the rest of the sausages to bring along for the trip. Disney picked me up around 5.15am and met the rest at KK. We stopped at Mc Donald, Jalan Sulaman to pack breakfast coz the others have not take their heavy breakfast… I bought a cup of tea which I did not drink… but I drank it on our way home around 1.30pm.

The trip was wonderful… the sky was a bit cloudy but it was actually very hot and I received sunburned on my neck. And it was for me to test my new Canon 7D which I just received on Friday after waiting for it for almost a week That camera is damm good… my old Canon 400D and 40D looks like dinosaur… All together we stop like five times at five different places to capture the mountain… the sunrise and the clouds surrounding the mountain is very challenging.

Along the trip, we stop at one hanging bridge and saw a family bathing and washing their cloths at the river… we took the opportunity to capture their life. It was great… I feel like going back there next time and do different way to capture their life… Then we stop at Kota Belud Tamu… this is my first time here… and it also a wow… then we had our lunch at the Kota Belud Pasar Tani… the food is damm bloody tasty… and I even got a shocked when we paid for the food… for four of us, the food is just RM16… that RM4 each… In KK it will cost us more than RM25… :O

Then on the way back, we saw funny stuffs too… like excavator bathing itself… I was frozen when I saw it… can’t even lift the camera and snap the moment… then saw an almost accident… a Viva suddenly did an acrobatic in front of us by doing 90 degree and luckily manage to recover while overtaking on a bend… on a bridge… Then lastly we saw a lion dance show at Mengatal Town…

I went to the airport almost two hours before my flight… I started from home around 9.50am and reach there after about 15 minutes journey… and this is the first time I used the self check-in kiosk… actually at that time, passengers do not have any choice… all are asked to use the self check-in kiosk… two of them… before going to the counter (again) to check-in your luggage if you have any, else you are ready to board the aircraft. But I understand counters were open to receive passengers later on after more passengers are crowding the kiosks.

It is very easy and convenient to use the self check-in kiosk… you just need to key-in your eTicket number, and you can even choose seat if you don’t like the pre-assigned seat. I was given seat 8D… i usually asked for window seat… but when I tried to change my seat, windows seats are only available at end of the aircraft… I decided to accept the predefined seat… after all it is row 8 which is only 3 rows behind from the 1st/Business Class section.

After checking-in, I roamed inside the airport… for more than 30 minutes. It seems the airport is not fully completed yet… there are still many sections still under renovation. The airport is not really big… at the moment… the structure is not bad… although it looks like steel buildings, it is actually  not… there are some artistically in its design…

Althought all passengers were akready inside the aircraft by 11.45am… we only took off at 12.10pm… we were held inside the aircraft for almost half an hour… just becoz our aircraft hasto give way to two incoming aircrafts…

So many office works need to be completed… backlogs are so much… meetings here and there… to get specifications… to prepare reports… to do technical drawings… going outstations… attending courses…

So many activities coming up… paintball training… paintball competitions… photography outings… donno want to go or not…

So many favors need to give away… lucky no one asked for wedding favors… helping others to prepare reports… digging for information… specifications…

I don’t think I like to do all these anymore… work so hard… at the end nobody appreciate you… well, not all… but some…

I need a break… I need to go for vacation… how nice if I strike the Jack Pot… nothing to worry about… just spend… do charity… travel…

Is this man, Zaid Ibrahim, going to be the next Malaysia’s Prime Minister???

He started as a kampung boy in Kelantan and build a 130+ lawyers law firm, Zaid Ibrahim & Co… the biggest law firm in Malaysia… probably the biggest in South East Asia too…

He was appointed as a Law Minister but resign after about 6 months… he can’t go against his principle… so he resign…

But tomorrow he might stand for the Hulu Selangor by-election… a parliament seat which can allow appointment for federal minister or Prime Minister.

And the worse thing… I can’t find my insurance policies… the whole file containing all my insurance thingy… life and auto insurance… I hope I just misplaced the file… it went missing at the same time as my passport and other certificates file the other day… I ransack the house and office and luckily found them stashed behind one of the drawers…

Now, it’s time for me to ransack the house and office again… I need to find it before the dateline… else I have to ask for new life and auto insurance quotes… that means more works and documents to deal with…

BAH… last call for Sabah’s paintball players out there…

This is your chance to play paintball league cup… there will be three legs in this league.

For this first leg, it will be held from 6th to 7th March 2010 at the new paintball fields at Likas Stadium.

There are two categories, rookie and open.

For rookie category, it’s going to be 3 men + 3 reserve. Entrance fee is RM300 and inclusive of paintball pallets. Newbie & students are highly encourage to participate.

For open category, it’s going to be 5 men + 2 reserve. Entrance fee is RM300. You can use electrical or mechanical marker…

USPL rules will be used in this tournament.

When I look into my WordPress plug-ins today, the cform seems to be not working when used in IE, but it works if used in Firefox… messages submitted through the contact forms are not delivered to my mailbox…

I guess I’ve lost many inquires or messages submitted through the contact form… for that I apologize to those who has submitted inquires or messages to me which I never replied.

Truly, it was never my intention not to reply if you ever sent any inquiry or message to me.

Now, instead of using forms for my contact, you can email me directly… I’ve updated my contact page where you can see my e-mail detail in it.

I hope by displaying my email address in the contact it will not invites unwanted emails… spam emails like Viagra pills, gambling, life insurance policy quote… phishing that I won 20 million dollars… etc… etc…

The Borneo Traditional Therapy is located at Damai… next to the Damai Point Plaza… the place is run by a lady… she is doing traditional massage… she said there are too many Bali massage, so she comes up with traditional massage just to make it unique… and she is not just making it sound unique but really makes it unique coz she use all the local traditional ‘skills’ in massaging and all the herbs… and she almost completed her book… yes, she is writing a book about her works… the traditional therapy of Borneo.

I’ve been here  five times already… including my last visit on Friday recently. Usually I comes here for massage when I have a very stiff shoulder and back… and head. She really knows where are the source of the pain and she will massage them till they really go away… but if you are not the type who cannot stand pain… then you gonna make lots of noise… and crying… she might be small but once she work on you… her hand is like a huge clamp… like last Friday, when she massage my hand, I was covering my face with my other hand… while my body was curling… and curling… and curling… and curling… like there is no more tomorrow… I thought I was going to faint that day… but the result is all the pain are gone… immediately…

It was like this… after all the VIPs comes down from the center stage and before the troops starting going up to the stage… they were all circling the stage first… with all the small pieces of metallic papers which was shoot into the air as part of the opening highlight lying on the stage floor, suddenly there is a small tornado at the center of the stage… it was clearly visible coz the metallic papers were spinning in the shape of the little tornado… it was quite difficult to capture it in photo with all the troops blocking the stage… but surely you can see the metallic papers circling up like tornado… hope it is a good sign

Second… this one maybe not that weird… there is one guy from one of the troops displaying fire acrobatic… he was carrying fire torch and a bottle of kerosene… yes it is kerosene coz I can smell it… he will put some of the liquid in his mouth and blow it towards the fire torch… and there will be a big fire shooting up in the sky with some thick black smoke… and at one of the shoot out…while he was right in the center of the stage… he actually created a big dark circle of smoke… and it was visible for a few seconds… and I hope this is not a bad sign but a good sign… for the year of the tiger

Toyota is the only Japanese car I like… and I support their F1 team together with Mercedes F1… but unfortunately their F1 team will not be racing this year… same with few other teams which were hit by the world financial meltdown last year.

For the past two years, Toyota has been recalling its vehicles… and it has recalled millions already. They are top in sales but they are also top in recall!!!

But almost all the recalled vehicles are with Toyota US!!! Not here in Malaysia.

Last year they were having problem with floor mat which will slip and cause major safety on the driver’s handling. Now they are having safety issues on the gas pedal… and recently there is a possibility safety issue on the brake system!!! But not all models are affected… only some…

If you are owning any of the US Toyota vehicles which has been identified as having safety issues, I think if you need term life insurance or do not have any right now, you better get it now… else you just have to keep your Toyota in the garage or sell it off…

If Toyota keeps on recalling their vehicles, I’m scared they will vanish from the business very soon… I hope they can improve their safety standard or fix whatever problem they are having in the production line… I hope it is not caused by design flaw because Toyota has one of the best designs… hopefully it’s just caused by bad materials…

Income tax letter received… need time to fill the online income tax from now… annual housing loan statements received… time to renew the mortgage life insurance… time to renew all the other insurance too… including car insurance… road tax… everything needs money!!!

The only good things this month is getting statements from the PNB for the Amanah Saham… and the other unit trust fund managers… how I wish I don’t have to pay anything… just getting my salary every month…

Then, they blame the generators… old generator sets which are inefficient and costly to maintain… who purchase the generators in the first place?

Now they are proposing to use gas or coal power generation plants… the coal power plant proposal was heavily objected by many parties… even me don’t agree with it… coz we have so much oil and gas dug in the state… we are one of the biggest oil producer in the country!!!… we don’t have coal mine here!!!

Solutions using gas for the power plants are more feasible coz we have the gas supply on hand… and soon an oil and gas processing plant at Kimanis… or was it just an oil and gas terminal???… damm… are we being short-hand again?… is being build and will be completed soon…

If oil and gas processing plant is build instead of just oil and gas terminal, thousands of our people in the state will get employment… when more people employed, there will be less jobless people in the state… then the economic will improve… and with the power plant… stable power supply… more investor will come here to build their factory etc… etc… etc…

I went to one of the dental clinic in Damai with my colleague which is opposite the shop we were having our late breakfast. I notice there are 3 dental clinics around Damai… probably more which I did not see. I actually call the clinic from the coffee shop to find out if they are busy… saw their number on the signboard. The nurse said there is an appointment around 10.00am… but I said, I will walk in after my meal… coz I’m having food next to their clinic

The dental clinic looks big… the waiting area is huge… but there is only one dentist and two nurses. Registered myself… then in less then 3 minutes, I was called into the ‘operation’ room… I was lucky to get the appointment coz their two patients have not turn up yet for the 10am appointment… probably they couldn’t find a parking space… getting parking in Damai is like hitting a jackpot especially during office hours.

While waiting to be called, I scan through the pictures pasted on the clinic’s wall. Some shows before and after results… like one of it shows how jagged and bad teeth looks before getting treatment… and once corrected it shows sparkling teeth… arrange nicely like marble tiles… and there is also picture showing teeth with metal stuff on it, instead of arranged like marble tiles, it looks like copper tile

Told the dentist my problem… I wanted the tooth to be pulled… but when he tried to shake the tooth with his hand, he said it’s still strong… and since it is a molar tooth… I heard ‘molar’, so it must be the name of the tooth… it’s harder to pull coz it has 3 legs… if pulling not successful, I might have to do operation… WHAT???

OK… I ask for second option… and I ask for an X-Ray of  my tooth… he said, if the tooth can be saved, I can opt for root canal… emmm… sound lots of drilling, and I don’t like drilling… lying on the dentist chair and listening all the lecture makes me sweat…

At the end he ask me to think about it first… so I ask for painkiller… he offer me ‘panadol’… WHAT???… I can get that at any shop… I ask for a stronger one… he offered me a capsule which cost RM10 each… I bought 4 of them since he is only free on Friday if I plan to come back… Well, I might do the root canal…

I was not able to sleep at all… I have to wake-up, go to the kitchen, put some tap water into my mouth, wait till the pain go away, throw away the water then go back to bed… before I can fall into sleep, the pain comes back again… I can’t remember how many times I did that… and I guess I only manage to sleep 4 hours or so

I wake up still feeling the pain and went to work… I stop by at Kepayan Ridge’s 7-11 to buy mint gaggle liquid to kill the pain… but they don’t even have Listerine… shooot… I bought two bottle of Spritzer mineral water instead…

Hardly able to concentrate my work in the office… Others are still enjoying their outer banks vacation rentals till the end of this week… the 8 floors office building is still look deserted… I think more than 50% are still not back to work… they must have taken extended leave and went for vacation since ‘last year’… me have to work with toothache… why???… why me???… why???…

All I can do is put water into my mouth to soak the tooth and the pain goes away for a while… then the pain comes back again after 5 minutes or so…

My vision is blurry right now… I’m like lost in outer space… somehow the nerve in my tooth is connected to every parts of my head…

If I can’t get rid of this toothache soon, I’m going to loose my appetite and soon will loose some weight… worse I will get skinny if I’m unable to eat like before… no need slimming pills or anything to throw away some of my belly fat… that will be horrifying…

A friends put a message in the Facebook asking me to take ‘pinang’… beetlenut… coz it has somekind of properties which act as natural painkiller… but how the heck to get it in the middle of the night???…

Shoot man… I will not get a good sleep tonight…
