After sometimes, people are still talking about iPhone. I don’t know why people are so crazy about iPhone. I just love my Windows Mobile PDA Phone. But what ever becomes irresistible out there, there will be always a black hat eying for it. Just like Microsoft stuff, pirating their products is just irresistible. iPhone on the other hand, after a few days being launch, someone manage to crack its security features. Now even in KK you can find a modded iPhone… and its cheap too I heard.

But what is Apple going to do with these modded iPhone. Simple, if my product is being pirated, all I want to do is punish those buying my pirated product. This is what I think Apple did. F-Secure a security research company confirmed that they have found the first Trojan for iPhone. And this Trojan is specifically attacking modded iPhone. Did Apple created the first iPhone Trojan?

According to F-Secure, it was an 11-year-old kid playing with XML files who created the Trojan. “Next time it might be someone else with more skills and with specific target,” they said… 11-year-old kid… now, don’t tell me that the one who cracked iPhone security features is an 11-year-old kid too… and not the guy as reported.

Anyway, if you are one of the modded iPhone owners, just be careful… try to get pirated anti virus… LOL… to protect your modded iPhone. Pirate will be always pirate… they never buy the original… 😀

Today, everyone must be pissed off with the Water Department particularly their contractor, Jetama Sdn. Bhd., who are manning the Babagon Dam at Moyog.

They cut off the water supply to the whole Kota Kinabalu, Penampang… up to Lok Kawi and Inanam and many other areas beginning late this morning and it’s going to be like this for the next 36 hours or so.

According to their notice in the newspapers, the water supply will be cut off from 2.00pm 15 January 2008 until 10.00pm 16 January 2008. They have to shut down or reduce the water production for them to do maintenance works at their water treatment plant at Moyog.

Gosh… my scheduled 30,000 KM car servicing is way overdue… it is more than 32,600 KM now and it has been more than 5 months since the last service.

It supposed to be serviced every 5,000 KM or every 3 months or whichever comes first. It’s not hard to book for servicing at UMW Toyota but it just that works are so much and time is just not enough. And service centre only opened from Monday to Friday. If it opens on Saturday or Sunday, that will be nice… what to do…

But luckily I’m using syntactic lubricant, so it supposed to last about 10,000 KM or more compared to mineral lubricant which can last to 5,000 KM only… not to worry so much. But of course it’s not good to do it regularly. I wanted to call UMW today (yesterday) but I forgot… I try again tomorrow (today), and hopefully I will get a service slot this Friday… else next week lo…

That Toyota Fortuner Turbo with 1KD-FTV 3.0 litre 16-valve DOHC diesel engine is not mine… because it has manual transmission. I can’t drive manual car, I forgot how to drive manual car. But I just want to put it here so that everyone can see it 😀

My mum called me this afternoon (yesterday) asking me to inform Telekom that the phone is not working. I called their hotline at 100. A machine answered… and like usual automated answering system… choose your language… choose your problem (problem?)… until a real human (lady) answered me.

I told her my problem… gave the faulty phone number… gave the registered owner… my name… my hand phone number… then she said your reference number is the faulty phone number… at first she sounded not very clear… so ask her again… then she sounded a bit ‘angry’… then I purposely ask her again… confirmed, her voice is bit ‘angry’… then as usual I make her more angry… by imitating her voice and ask again and again… then she change her voice softer… mua ha ha ha… eat your stuff Telekom…. 😀

Surprisingly, after 1 or 2 hours, their technician calls to confirm the location. When I reach home, surprise… surprise… its fixed!

I was discussing with a friend recently on how to conduct an online business. The idea is to write some great games and sell it online. Writing the games is not really a problem but selling it online is the problem. We must be able to accept credit cards payment online because most people own at least one credit card. I need to setup 3 servers this week. But after further analysis, I may only need 1 server because I don’t want to waste the Xeon servers. I will use it for the real stuff later. I need a new license manager server for some of the engineering applications. So, it’s going to be busy week for me… and it might spill over till next week. Then have to go outstations to fix other stuff too… 😛 I hope I can start doing it tomorrow, but at the same time there will be a system discussion tomorrow… important system… 😛
