We left the Jesselton Point Jetty on Sunday, 18 January 2009, around 1.50 pm after the Gayana Eco Resort staff completed checking and confirming the boat passenger list. We arrived at Gayana Eco Resort around 2.10 pm, that’s about 20 minutes of boat ride. The ride is a bit choppy because there are quite some big waves. This is the first part of my back posting about our trip to Pulau Gaya. I supposed to go there on Monday, 19 January, but I decided to join the committee and the rest a day early on Sunday, 18 January.

I’m always having problem finding a pen every time I need one. There are two reasons why I have this problem.
First, I seldom use pen to write because my handwriting are worse than the doctor’s handwritings… I’m sure you’ve seen how doctor’s handwritten before. I also use computer to write more than pen. In fact, I wish if I have to attend exam, I’m allowed to use notebook (notebook as in computer, not the note book) to write. My colleagues, husband and wife, are both holding senior posts. One day, that’s more than 5 years ago I think, they announced that they are going to resign and migrate somewhere else.
Both of them are earning almost $10K a month each and during that time the economy are considered very well. They have big house and I’m sure they own more than one houses.

The politics scenario in Malaysia right now is really wasting a lot of time and resources. I really hate with what’s going on right now.
Since 8 March 2008, after the 12th General Election, the scenario of Malaysia’s politics changed like never before. It’s all because of the big losses of the Barisan Nasional (BN) to Pekatan Rakyat (PR).
BN lost the two-third majorities in the federal government which it enjoys for the past 50 years. And it also lost another 4 states out of the 13 states (15 if you include KL and Labuan). Because of the ‘super lightning’ last Wednesday night, 21 January 2009, I have to spend a few hundred bucks to replace my broadband Linksys modem router. I was not the only one getting a barbecued modem that nigh, but two of my friends also had a modem barbecue party that night.
