Which one, diesel or petrol?

Which one, diesel or petrol?

If you’ve chosen petrol, oooo man… looks like you made the wrong choice. Don’t worry you are not alone… me and many more really surprised with this new result.

Hybrid lost to a diesel-powered engine!

A diesel-powered BMW 5-series beat a petrol-based Toyota Prius hybrid in a 545-mile London-Geneva run in Mile Per Galon (MPG) stats. Read more at GoodCleanTech.

My question: Should they scrap-off hybrid-engine research and do more research on diesel-engine? How about environment?

And sooner or later, Sabah Malaysia will be the major producer of bio-diesel made from Palm Oil or Jatropha.

Comments inside Comments

life

Starting yesterday, I will do my commenting within the particular comment itself. I’ve seen this being done by some of the fellow bloggers for sometimes and I thought I gonna need a plug-in or something to do it.

While going through the comments in my account yesterday, I realize how easy it was to do comments within comment. Doing so will make my site neater… 😀

Just a flash back

life

When we were still a small kid, every time a cowboy’s movies are played on the black and white television, we will stay glued onto it no matter what time the shows start or end.

Watching the cowboys riding their horse and fighting with Red Indians gave us the idea of playing cowboys and Red Indians game. Most of the time, the cowboys will be the good people and the Red Indians are the bad people. Although we don’t have horse, we have to pretend as if we are riding on a horse when chasing or running away. And we also bully the small kids to be the cows. Hey… it won’t be cool when cowboys don’t have cows and Red Indian. When I think about it back, it is really funny… but boys will be boys. Boys want to be the hero with his horse… all the time 😀

After we grow up, of course we don’t play that game any more. Now we watched other stuff like rodeo which is cowboys’ sports. And to those who are cowboys’ fanatic, I’m sure they are more than willing to go and watch the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo or NFR which is organized by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. If YOU really interested to watch the 2008 NFR, you still have a good chance to get the WNFR Tickets. If your dreams is to be a cowboy when you were still a kid, this is your chance.

My outstation day

work

I’m so tired today… not tired of work, but tired driving around. We started our journey from KK just before 10am. The journey is not bad since the roads are ok. To make sure I don’t get more ‘saman’, I tried to drive below 90km/h all the time. And sure enough, there was two road blocks.

The weather was a bit sunny but very hot. I wanted it to be raining a bit so that it gets cooler and the ambient lights will be nicer.

After almost 2 hours, we arrived at our destination at Kota Belud. I immediately start my ‘operation’. Check the equipments and removed some of them which are no longer necessary. Then reconnect everything as nice as possible.

When I tested them… emm… someone did not do the right thing. This has nothing to do with my equipments… something wrong somewhere which is not in my area. Contacted whoever they are and ask them to rectify ‘this and that’ as soon as possible… I know what I’m talking about becoz I know what are the problems at their end. I warned them that I wasted my journey because of something which has nothing to do with my equipments. Actually I did not really wasted my journey since I wanted to take opportunity to take photos at the same time 😛

After a few minutes, they called back and ask me to try again… emm… everything are OK now… then, when we were about to leave, someone called and apologize… the problem is, I know them… to continue getting ‘angry’ is hard… errr… what the heck lah… case closed.

Then we went to lunch… at the shop, TV1 was on and the PM is briefing the media on his new cabinet lineup.

After lunch, we went round and round looking for spots to take photo. I wanted to go to the water gate… irrigation gate. I saw it about a year ago.

OK… time to take rest now… will talk more later… and I’m lazy to download the photos…

Lucrative phone card business

communications

If you look around, be it at small town, big town or residential areas, you will see many phone retailers conducting their business on a quarter size shop. I’ve seen it while I was outstation today. I stop over at 3 small towns. They conduct their business at the corner of a shop like groceries shop or coffee shop. They only have a small counter to display their phones, accessories and a few type of cards like calling cards, reload cards and prepaid cards. Looking at the numbers who are doing this business, it must be very lucrative business. All types of customers are hanging around at these shops every minute to buy phones, accessories, calling cards, reload cards, prepaid cards etc.

Tomorrow I’m going to Kota Belud site office to fix another network with my colleague. I will drive myself… lucky I’ve serviced my car last week 😀

And I will be taking with me my new ‘big gun’… the Canon EOS 40D. This gonna be my first outing with my big gun… I hope I can get some good photos. OK, here is my big gun…

When it involves large amount of money, get advice first

financial

After spending quite a large amount of money for toys recently, it is time to talk about some serious stuff. OK, let’s talk about Mortgages… yes mortgages for home, new or old. Do you know that it is important to get advice before you commit yourself with any mortgages? Yes, it is very important… it does not matter whether you are a first time buyer or not. Getting mortgages will involve commitment… a serious commitment which can stretch up to 20 or 30 years. Make a mistake and you could suffer for that long. And you will be talking about large amount of monies… from ten of thousands to millions of dollars. There are many ways to get advice on mortgages. The simplest is through the internet. I like to preach about getting information from the internet because there are endless of information out there… but make sure to get the right one.

Yippeeee.. McLaren WON!!! And the other teams too

formula 1

McLaren is the winner of the Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park, Melbourne this afternoon.

The race is full of disaster… only 7 of 22 cars completed the race.

Ferrari, my number one enemy team was in very unlucky state. Its second driver, Felipe Massa, involved in accident in the first lap and then again till it gets knocked out.

Three laps before the race end, Ferrari-Kimi Raikkonen runs out of fuel! Someone did a wrong math!!! Ha ha ha ha… 😆

Although I was hoping McLaren to take the 1st and 2nd placing, I’m still happy becoz BMW took the 2nd place and although it was not the full Toyota team in the 3rd placing, it’s still ok since Williams-Toyota got it.

William-Toyota is the team using a Toyota engine… same with McLaren which is using Mercedes engine.

The 2008 driver’s results:
 1. Lewis Hamilton – McLaren-Mercedes (10 points)
 2. Nick Heidfeld – BMW (8 points)
 3. Nico Rosberg – Williams-Toyota (6 points)
 4. Fernando Alonso – Renault (5 points)
 5. Heikki Kovalainen – McLaren-Mercedes (4 points)
 6. Kazuki Nakajima – Williams-Toyota (3 points)
 7. Sebastien Bourdais – STR-Ferrari (2 points)
 8. Kimi Räikkönen – Ferrari (1 points)

The 2008 Formula 1 Team results:
 1. McLaren-Mercedes – 14
 2. Williams-Toyota – 9
 3. BMW – 8
 4. Renault – 5
 5. STR-Ferrari – 2
 6. Ferrari – 1
 7. Toyota – 0
 8. Super Aguri-Honda – 0
 9. Red Bull-Renault – 0
 10. Force India-Ferrari – 0
 11. Honda – 0

Next circuit is Malaysia Grand Prix at Sepang… 2008 FORMULA 1 PETRONAS MALAYSIAN GRAND PRIX

Race Date: 23 Mar 2008

Naughty card… drop my water face

financial

Every time I use my credit card after charging a large sum on it, tension feeling will overshadow me. The problem is, every time a large amount charged to my credit card, my next purchase will definitely decline! It’s very embarrassing as if I’m a bad credit credit cards customer or some kind of credit card criminal on the loose. It happens to me ‘again’ when I charged my credit card for my car service a few days ago. It’s because I’ve charge a large amount on it earlier for the Canon EOS 40D DSLR camera 😛 Lucky I have my other card with me to pay my car service charges.
