I took leave today and for tomorrow, so I took the opportunity to go and pay my house assessment at DBKK this afternoon…

Thinking that it will be difficult to get parking near the DBKK HQ office at KK, I decided to try the DBKK’s One Stop Payment Center at Luyang.

I pick my friend at Damai and headed to the one stop payment center. I missed the junction… the only junction to the center from the main road. But lucky there is some space for cars at the side right of the main road in front of the center.

I stopped my car there and proceeded to the center… but it looks deserted. I try to open the door but it was locked. I look at the signboard… Ooo no… it open up to 12.00 pm only… and the time was 12.30 pm… Ooo well… that mean I have to go to its HQ… about 5 km away.

😛 😀 😮 😉

When we reach KK, I was lucky to find an empty parking space in front of DBKK HQ office… that was cool… I went into the office and was greeted by an officer, probably the information desk officer. I was here about 5 years ago… if I’m not mistaken… the place looks very different now.

The officer approached me and asks if I need any assistant… emm… weird… instead of me going to his desk and enquire, he approached me and gave assistant… maybe it’s the new way DBKK handling their customers… OK, that’s good.

I told him I came to pay my ‘hutang’ jokingly as usual… 😀 He guided me to counter number 4… all the counter are vacant… I mean no customer… except counter 4 but a lady, customer I guess, just finished her business there.

I told the lady at the counter I came to pay my ‘hutang coz my house is going to be locked by DBKK’ jokingly… I gave her my receipt which I received through mail a few days ago. Both of them are very friendly and laughing with my ‘jokes’… hahahaha…

‘Wow so much…’ she said… then I replied jokingly… ‘Got discount kah?… Hari Kebangsaan discount kah?.. Give lah 50%…’

She replied ‘got’ but not much… so instead of paying RM1,153.40, I only pay RM1011.60… woohooo…. I got RM141.80 discount… LOL 😆

While waiting for my discount calculated, I noticed others have to get a queue number… but I did not, I was guided straight to the counter… wow this is my lucky day… or izzit I look like a reporter or ‘taukey ikan’ maybe… wearing 3/4 Camel cargo pants and carrying backpack at my back… 😀

After paying my house assessment, we headed for lunch at Mint, a Vietnamese restaurant, about 600m from the DBKK. I was getting slight headache coz I did not take my breakfast 😛

Then I spend the rest of my day playing games… instead of studying for my MCSE exam… which was postponed again 😀
