Our meteor hunting last Thursday on13 August, was not a successful one… well more to myself…

I was expecting a real meteor shower that night… you know, stream of meteors lighting up the sky like star wars… but only my 3 other friends manage to see small meteors… as for myself, I did not see a single meteor on that night… probably it was not my time to see meteor yet 🙁 Like I said in my previous posting, I did see meteor before… but that was when I was only 15 years old.

I was really not prepared that night… I did read the news about the meteor shower on the net a few days before but did not bother about it because I thought it will not be visible here. Just before midnight, around 11.30pm on 12 August, Rachel SMS me… to take photos of the meteor shower… I was shocked, I immediately run out the house to scan the sky… the sky was clear with moon.

I could not see any meteors… went back inside to continue with my FB. Then Ahaz message me on the FB to take photos and videos of the meteors. I search the net for the meteor showers news… and at the same time checking my digital camera and video camera… dang… both runs out of battery… I charge both of them immediately…

According to the news, the meteor showers will be visible from 1.30am to 4.00am on the 13 August 2009… I was hoping my cameras will get enough charge within one hour… well they did get enough charge after one hour.

Then Ahaz, Rachel, Dony and me converse through YM conference… and ‘fight’ where the best place to watch the meteors… we decided to meet at Tanjung Aru beach… I fetch Dony and Ahaz. But we change our direction once we met Rachel at Tanjung Aru beach because we can’t view the northern sky from there… so we decided to go to Tanjung Lipat… near the KK port… it was a good location… unfortunately there was no spectacular meteor shower that morning…

We were getting tired and Ahaz was getting sleepy… he actually slept while sitting… he was a bit sick with flu… H1N1?… I asked him to sleep inside my car… I was also very sleepy, but tried to hold… I really want to see the meteors. How nice if I have the recreational vehicle or rv for camping… we were actually like camping on the road side next to the sea. With the rv camping, at least I can get a proper rest or even sleep inside the rv while waiting for the meteors.

Well, I do hope there will be meteor shower in the near future… again… and hopefully I can capture them… and hopefully I’m with an rv so that I don’t have to rush out and back home for the tiring meteor hunting… I can just sleep inside my rv 😀 Went back around 4.00am 😛

Back home after getting a short sleep, on my way out to office from the house, my sister in-law from Slovak greeted me and I told her about my meteor hunting… and she said she also read about it on the net… and her mother who is next to her, was saying something, and they talked… they talk in foreign language 😀 … and said, in their country the meteors usually appears in May and August every year… and I said… HUH?… 😛

Hahaha… instead of going for Japanese food just now, five of us went to Krishna Fish Head Curry House at Millennium Garden next to Penampang Bypass road 😀

But I was also here two days ago… gosh… my tummy are full of curry now 😛 and its getting bigger and bigger… o_O

Some suggested to me to take Avesil… they said it will reduce my appetite and at the same time burn some of my fat while boosting my energy… ya… ya… ya… I don’t take drugs OK… and I also try not to take any medication… this is not sickness… I just need more exercise while still having loads of foods 😀 And someone suggest garter belt… what the heck is garter belt?… I hope it is not a kinky belt… 😛

And because we took so much time eating, I have to reschedule my appointment… the appointment has already been postponed from this morning to this evening… but because of the extra lunch time, I have to shift it 30 minutes more for this evening… 😀 Lucky she did not mind me shifting the appointment 😀 When I reach office, she already waiting for me… 😛

Gosh… I feel so exhausted and very sleepy right now… went home around 4.30am this morning then woke up around 8am!!! Went out to hunt meteor early this morning… but that will be another story… right now I’m damm bloody sleepy…

But luckily I don’t have to go to work tomorrow… I took a day leave… coz tomorrow we are going to have a whole day class for the MCSE… I can sleep during the class 😀

I took late breakfast this morning… still full… but soon have to go to Karamunsing Complex for lunch with friends… and they want to go to Japanese Restaurant the Usagi… again… gosh… I think I’m getting fade up with Japanese food… probably too much sushi… or probably I’m too sleepy right now… I have no appetite to eat… Has been eating all kind of foods… including during my brother’s wedding last Saturday… and it was like eating frenzy continuously for the past few days… 😛

I think my tummy is getting bigger… I don’t mind getting extra weight or fat but I don’t like the big tummy… 😆 does apidexin work for my tummy?… I know that supposed for dieting… but I need something to make my tummy smaller… 😛

I want to fly…

I think some of my friends think I’m going nuts… coz I have been saying ‘I want to fly’ since early this month… 😆

I don’t know why but maybe because I’m bit too tired… too much stuff to do and not satisfied with the outcome… probably.

Should I take a long break and go somewhere far with my camera… alone…

Or should I go to Outer Banks… Outer Space…

Maybe it’s good to go outer space… but for tonight… this early morning… I don’t have to go far… coz tonight it’s going to be meteor shower… YES!!!

This gonna be my first experience to watch meteor shower… I think, my only experience was when I was 15 years old… while sitting outdoor during party, I saw one meteor… it was so fast… and my friend next to me also manage to see it 😀

Ok it is 12.40am, 13 August 2009… and according to my friend… who SMS me a few minutes ago… thank you… coz I did not know about this… the meteor shower here will start from 1.30am to 4.00am… I hope I don’t fall asleep…

I’m going outside to prepare my tripod and camera… but I need to search the net first on how to capture meteor shower…

So this morning, I’m going to fly to outer space… 😀

Lucky FB fren reminded me to take video… crap… my video cam and digital cam  is running out of battery… hope with 1/2 hour time I can get enough charge… 😛

Is there any demand for motor home here?.. I guess with the good road network and a wide state, it should be fine… if I can get one motor home, I would like to use it not only for vacation or travelling but during my official outstation works too 😀

Motor home is also called RV… short for Recreational Vehicle.

With RV, I don’t have to worry about accommodation… all I have to worry are water and electric supply… but I don’t think that as big problem, I’m sure it’s not hard to get those.

But how much is rv cost?… any financing company here ready and willing to provide rv financing?…

If rv is affordable and rv finance is available, I would like the own this rv!!!

At last… after more than two weeks without rain… only thick haze… the rain came down last night… and it was heavy 😀

I’m not sure when was the rain started, but when we came out from Karamunsing Complex after class and having McDonald around 9pm, the rain was quite heavy.

Driving was quite difficult… the rain was too much and too heavy… my wiper can’t clear the rain drops on the windscreen… it was too much… although I have put it on the fastest speed.

I have to drive very slowly… but although it was a very heavy rain… I’m glad it rain heavily… in fact I’m hoping for it to rain… just small rain… throughout the night… but well the heavy rain was only around KK I guess… because when I reach near Donggonggon, the rain subside from there… it was only small rain in Donggonggon.

I enjoy driving during rain… coz it will be cooler, less smoke, nice ambient sound… and last night I was thinking if I was driving a motor home, I can just park at the roadside and enjoy the rain… coz I was quite tired… was tired for the past few days… always feel sleepy… probably I was bitten by tsetse mosquitoes 😛 But here, having a motor home is something alien… probably like District 9 😀 and probably owning a motor home will cost lots of money for the motorhome insurance 😛

Anyway, the haze was reduced tremendously this morning… 😀 I hope it’s going to rain again tonight… 😀

The sky is not cloudy, but full of haze!!!

The haze are horrible… the haze was here for more than a week already.

During they day, the temperature is too hot to do activities outside… the visibility is too short… like only less than 20km away. It is not only hot during the day but it also making the eyes very painful. The haze makes my eyes teary… and without shades while driving, the glare is just too much to bear, even while walking outside.

During the night, sleeping is not very comfortable without air-conditioner. And without realizing it, the haze or smoke entered the house and makes breathing very difficult. Now, my chest… lung… is making small whizzing sound when breathing… it sound like asthma… but I don’t have asthma… so it must be the effect of the haze or smoke.

The haze is not only bad to the lung but also bad for the skin… I feel the skin gets older faster… wrinkles are visible not only on the hand but around the eyes… maybe it’s time to get the best eye cream to make sure the wrinkles don’t grows bigger but goes away instead.

Let’s hope the haze goes away as fast as possible… and it’s time not to blame our neighboring country alone because our neighboring state is also the culprit. They are burning the juggle they cleared for plating palm oil… 😛 🙁

It is more than six month I did not hit a single golf ball!!!

My golf membership is sitting idle doing nothing… I think I should go back to the golf course since all I have been doing is sitting in front of the computer and exercising my fingers… 😛

For a start, probably I should start digging out my golf gears and my golf training aids… 😛

I’m sure my body is not fit enough to walk under the sun for three hours. I have to start practicing my swing with the kit under the shade first… :lol

I hope I can go to the driving range soon… yesterday my friend was asking about it… and hopefully to go to the golf course after that 😀

Did you know that it is illegal to modify your vehicle headlamp?

Yes, it is illegal to modify your headlamp according to the Road Transport Department. Even installing a non-compliance hid kits on your car is considered illegal.

It is very irritating when in-coming cars in front of you are using the super glaring white color beam on their cars… it is almost like the projector’s beam… it can blind anyone temporary… and it can cause accident too.

Yesterday, while going home after the GI Joe – The Rise of Cobra movie around 11.30pm, there was a road-block by the Road Transport Department near my home. I hope they are not only looking for those driving without license but to catch those using illegal headlamp system… 😛

Tonite it’s going to be GI Joe’s night…
