Last night… or was it this morning… I did not manage to get a good sleep thanks to my toothache. I went to sleep around 2.30 am although my tooth was still hurting that time…

I was not able to sleep at all… I have to wake-up, go to the kitchen, put some tap water into my mouth, wait till the pain go away, throw away the water then go back to bed… before I can fall into sleep, the pain comes back again… I can’t remember how many times I did that… and I guess I only manage to sleep 4 hours or so 😛

I wake up still feeling the pain and went to work… I stop by at Kepayan Ridge’s 7-11 to buy mint gaggle liquid to kill the pain… but they don’t even have Listerine… shooot… I bought two bottle of Spritzer mineral water instead…

Hardly able to concentrate my work in the office… 😛 Others are still enjoying their outer banks vacation rentals till the end of this week… the 8 floors office building is still look deserted… I think more than 50% are still not back to work… they must have taken extended leave and went for vacation since ‘last year’… me have to work with toothache… why???… why me???… why???…

Ouchhhhhh… it’s over 1am and I’m having big time toothache right now… I have been trying to reduce the pain for the past 4 hours without any success…

All I can do is put water into my mouth to soak the tooth and the pain goes away for a while… then the pain comes back again after 5 minutes or so…

My vision is blurry right now… I’m like lost in outer space… somehow the nerve in my tooth is connected to every parts of my head…

If I can’t get rid of this toothache soon, I’m going to loose my appetite and soon will loose some weight… worse I will get skinny if I’m unable to eat like before… no need slimming pills or anything to throw away some of my belly fat… that will be horrifying…

A friends put a message in the Facebook asking me to take ‘pinang’… beetlenut… coz it has somekind of properties which act as natural painkiller… but how the heck to get it in the middle of the night???…

Shoot man… I will not get a good sleep tonight…

These sinks definitely fail in term of practical usage… but definitely successfully in making heads turn 😛

Imagine a guy is to use the sink and he has to bend… and he has to bend a lot coz the sink is quite deep unless he has a pair of long hand to reach the tap. And if the bathroom lighting is not bright enough which make the ambient light darker or dimmer…

Then when someone… lets say a lady… sees this from the side… she will definitely see a couple ‘doing their wild thing’ in the public washroom openly… 😛

Imagine if all three sink are occupied… definitely will looks like an orgy in public washroom… 😆

One of the many to get Hewlett Packard ProCurve switch… need to replace the more than 10 years old Cisco hubs… yes HUB… but all of them… about 16 units with each having 16 UTP ports and a single fiber port as backbone have been running strong like bull… 24×7… for the past 10 years or so… and they are all rackmount type… and they cost a bomb each during its heyday… 😀

So, 2010 is going to be a challenging year… to keep up the speed demand… or is it speed demon… speed hungry applications… 😛 But we can only speed up the LAN… for the LAN applications… but there is no way for us to get a better WAN speed… 😛 hoping 2010 will give us more WAN speed for us to reach the world out there… 😛

Last week, 16 December 2009, our small office… a small branch of a big department had a small gathering among us… it was a 3 in 1 celebration.

First, to celebrate one of our staff achievements who received an excellent award this year… second to celebrate our boss and another colleague belated birthday… and third to thank our two trainee, college students, who have been with us for the past six months.

We had our small party in our multipurpose room… a training room, a store room, a meeting room… it can be any room you like it to be anytime… 😀 we don’t have much office furniture inside the room but probably you might say it is full of junk if you see what inside the room… 😛

Sitting in front of the computer for too long is making my back painful lately… I think one of the reasons is the chair… the chair is too old I guess… and it cant hold my weight anymore 😛

When editing photos on the computer, I will sit for hours in front of it without lifting my butt from the chair… just looking at the screen and maneuvering the mouse and keyboard with my hands.

I think by replacing my old chair with any of the modern stools will be a great help…  yea, I think stool will be a better choice than chair… coz I see in the architect office their draughtsman are using stool and having a taller table… it looks and feels much relaxing… emm… just like sitting in the bar… wish I will get a stool for Christmas.. 😀

Last two days, there was heavy rain around the state… with some strong wind 😛

On Tuesday, 15 December 2009, around 1.10pm, there was strong wind and black sky around Kota Kinabalu.

And to some lucky folks around Kota Kinabalu, particularly who are at Tanjung Aru or those who happen to be near the Kota Kinabalu coast line, experienced another rare opportunity to watch the spectacular water sprout… a dark funnel-shaped water connecting the sea and the sky for about 5 minutes.

The water sprout is tornadoes over water which swirl and spiral water spouts stretching thousands of feet high. It happens when there is a very dark cloud with flat bottoms and at the same time light rains begin to fall. Once the water sprout stop or break, the water it carried from the sea to the sky will be dropped which causes heavy rains… for a short period…

The sea water it carries up and drops as rain contain lots of salts… after all it is sea water… there is no point to have rain guards to protect your car… better go to car wash immediately to remove the salty rains from damaging your car… unless you don’t mind your car get rusty 😛

Usually every year, the national budget will touch on cigarette tax. But this year, it seems like none… I’m not sure… probably there was but it was made to look not so important this time.

For health reason, the government usually increases the tax on tobacco products especially cigarette every year to deter existing and new to be smokers from spending their money to buy cigarette…. which is good… I really hate second hand smoke!!! If the tax on cigarette keep on increasing, one day the price of cigarette will overtake the price of the cigars online which is openly sold… :p

We are at the final month of the year… mail box… the real mail box… will start getting filled with season greetings cards… annual reports for your investments… annual bills for your life insurance… and so on.

A few weeks ago I collected a few bills from the mail box… yea, bills… that’s what I think of them all… one of it is from AIA… yea, AIA the insurance company where I bought all my insurance… and I’m sure it was bill…

So I, I tried to make time to go to AIA’s office at Karamunsing… and manage to spare some time last Friday during the lunch time. Getting parking at AIA’s office is easy, just enter their compound and double park… 😀

I took a queue number and waited… when my number called, I went to the counter and show my ‘bill’ and said I want to pay the ‘bill’… the moment she look at the ‘bill’ she told me… ‘you don’t have to pay that, it just to inform u the premium has been paid’… o shoot… so bloody shy… shame… damm… I pretend I don’t know and said… oh, I was confused, it looks like bill… i forgot i’ve change to autopay using my credit card… bla bla bal… mumbling… mumbling…. 😛 shoot…

Why the heck insurance companies don’t provide online services like the bank? If they’ve provided the service, I should have not wasted my time and save my water face 😛 … With online services, I can check all my insurance status anytime… get an instant life insurance quote anytime… grrrrr… shame…

Some people likes sports sandal… some likes sneakers… some likes dansko sandals… some likes crocs sandals… I like crocs 😀

Whichever your liking, for me comfort is the number one reason to own crocs… the fist time I saw crocs about 5 years ago, it looks so ugly!!! But after trying it, the comfort simply kills the ugliness… 😛

Today, there are many ‘crocs’ in the market… and they are damm cheap too… 20 times cheaper than the original crocs… RM9.90 only a pair!!!

My first crocs was a ‘crocs’ bought about five year ago… but after trying the real crocs, the comfort was thousand miles different… 😀 The ‘crocs’ sole is very painful… and it break after a month I think… then I change it to the real crocs… and never regretted… 😀
