haze haze… go away…
blog, life, weather August 12th, 2007Since my visit to Kundasang on July 19, Sabah haze is getting bad… while I was in Kundasang, the temperature is not very cold… I can sleep without shirt! Even the mountains are covered with some bluish smoke layer!
When I went to Mimpian Jadi on August 6, the weather was so hot… till my cough gets bad with sore throat… but I’m recovering now.
Today, visibility is getting bad… and very very hot…
Picture direction towards mountains (interior): Brownish haze are clearly visible at the background… foreground are Wisma Kewangan and Sabah State Museum.
Picture direction towards sea (top & bottom): Can you tell what at the background? That is Gaya Island… and the building is Wisma San Hin (SEDCO) near Cetre Point.

I was in Sabah in the 199? and hiked up Mt. Kinabalu. The visibility was pretty good. Is the present haze condition during to forest peat fire in Kalimantan of somewhere nearby?

you did climb the beautiful mauntain yea… cool… i climbed twice, once successfull, second time halfway only becoz too heavy already tat time… lol…
yea… looks like we always get the second hand smoke, loads of them… but here also lots smoker… they simply burn their leftover from the harvested crops…
