Is your existing insurance policy going to cover you for the new Influenza A H1N1?
life July 9th, 2009Did your insurance company contacted you recently?… or did your insurance company send you any flyer or update letter recently?… or did your friendly insurance agent contacted you recently?…
emm… usually, insurance company will inform their clients the soonest possible whenever there is new kind of dread disease. Some years back, I will usually receive their update regarding the changes in the dread diseases list for my existing insurance policy.
Sometimes they add and sometimes they strike off certain disease from the list base on my insurance policy coverage. It depends on the status of the disease… because the disease might not have any cure before or when the policy was purchased… probably it was not even mentioned or spelled out in the term life insurance rates by your insurance agent when you purchased your insurance policy that time.
But it is weird… up until today I have not receive any letter from any of my insurance companies regarding the Influenza A H1N1 coverage.
This mean, as long as they donβt inform or update my policy coverage for Influenza A H1N1, Iβm not covered for the that dread disease!!! I probably need to buy additional coverage into my existing policy… or probably need to buy a complete new insurance policy for it…. Anyone out there who has received updates from their insurance company regarding the coverage for Influenza A H1N1?…

Dunno leh…but it’s good to ensure that you are also covered for H1N1 from whichever insurance company. All I can say is, better be protected than sorry. Cheerssss!
