Meeting frenzy
work March 25th, 2008Attending two meetings in a day is not that bad. But having the two meetings one after another from 9am to 5pm is just too much. And having intense meeting debate is another case! Luckily no one reaches the βboiling pointβ like what the other said π OK lah… time to watch tv and get rest πΒ And tomorrow there will be another discussion… looking forward to it π

haha…btw the tense moments you had was the highlight of the afternoon meeting. You forgot to utilize the tip I shared with you when dealing with the Man.
π I tried… but I just can’t stand it, I need to ‘charged back like a DOG or LION’ LOL
I will try to hold it back next time… π
I think this is the problem when born under DOG and LEO sign π

In the first place don’t get yourself in a confrontational situation. If you can’t avoid it and especially if the other person is of higher ranking like your boss for example. Don’t argue in front of others (do it one on one with him privately). Just admit the assumed shortcoming (eventhough it might not be true) and promise to rectify it (make sure you do it though..better rectify to surpass beyond expectation so it won’t come up again the next time). In that way..you will earn some buffer/cushion so that eventhough you make mistake..it won’t be felt. hehe…actually this is more than what I shared with Tim. Of course this may still be theoretical…but so far it may have worked for me in one way or another.
π i totaly forgot some of the tips… i should have done what you said… i think we need a check list before entering meeting next time LOL π
