Breakfast
life April 15th, 2008I had my breakfast at Sunny Garden at Jalan Tuaran this morning. When you go breakfast at Sunny Garden, there is only one reason… to eat fish. Yea, fish just like Wan Wan at Jalan Bundusan. But this one is much better. They only serve fish and prawns. This morning I had slice fish… βKah Liauβ… big size… extra fish… π I always eatΒ extra mah…
When we are about to finish, Datuk Wong Kwok the Sabah’s Developer Tycoon sit next to our table… that’s not his photo, I not dare to snap his photo.

If you happen to be at Tamparuli…go to Wun Chiap Restaurant. It’s to the left of BSN bank (facing BSN). Weekends usually full with people from outside Tamparuli. They make their own noodles.
OK, cool…

Wun chiap is a family-run restaurant! Even the noodles are self-made the old-fashioned way!
Them tukang masak are brothers! The mom is tukang potong char siew! The pelayan-pelayan are brothers too.
U gotta try their ‘tamparuli mee’ and eat it slowly allowing the taste to melt in your mouth! π
Us folks from KK drive all the way to Wun Chiap just to eat ‘tamparuli mee’ then drive home after puas makan! So damn gila! Sometimes, there are wedding functions held in their small shop. LOL.
Some people call the mee goreng ‘tuaran mee’ but it is not. The way they goreng the mee is so different.
They have this one thing all the kedai kopi in the whole town of Tamparuli don’t have. Dish washer LOL.
Standard price is RM3.50
wah… you sounded like you got share in with the restaurant…

Donald: hahaha…you make it sounds heavenly to eat Tamparuli Mee. Maybe we Tamparulians take it for granted that it’s there and don’t take time to savour the taste.
Seriously it’s a heavenly taste….when our family have gathering at home we usually order take aways in large platter…they even trust you with their melamine platters.
Yes it’s all family run.
wow… great service too yea…
