Donggongon + Megalong = Donggolong
donggongon, life, megalong May 20th, 2008What is Megalong? Well it supposed to be the longest mall in Borneo… that’s what the developer said… but I doubt it!
The developer ‘bulldozer’ its way to develop the mall. It was a controversial project because the land is in dispute and the approval to do the work is not in order… anyway, anything possible in our country… so the development proceeeeeed… as if nothing happened!
Because of the controversial and the ‘size’ of the project which supposed to change the face of Donggongon, I nick-named Donggongon to DONGGOLONG!
But if you are using the road around Donggongon, then you know how bad is the traffic flow around the area… especially around the Megalong… safety is waaaayyyyy below par!
These photos are taken during the public holiday, Wesak Day, around 5pm, the traffic is not that very bad.

i have quite some time to find out what is megalong,mega long?
i still having problem to find out next,Donggolong?
anyway,malaysia is a boleh land,everything boleh.
ha ha ha… yep, names are confusing… donno wat ‘long’ they going to have next…

Megalong? i thought, the project near maksak is megalong… or…emm…
nope… this is MEGALONG at Donggongon, Penampang. The one near Maksak at Likas is KK MEGAMALL claiming to be the biggest single storey mall in Borneo 😀

Haha… The never-finish controversial project.. Aik, when can la this building be finish… Everytime I come back nothing much is done… Hope that the pilaks and pti won’t be the majority there…
still not finish, road around still worst… the PTI still many around lah… (29/07/2008)

Dear Penampangites, MEGALONG BUSINESS COMPLEX is now a fact. Lets not run it down. Make it prosper and be proud that MEGALONG lives up to its MEGA and LONG description.

😆 Megalong is not my project… 😛
The Megalong is almost completed… I believe it can be completed by end of this year (2009)… or probably by early next year (2010) 😀
