Early this morning around 1AM, it was raining for a short while but with thunderous sound. The weather was quite warm for the past few days and it has not rain for sometimes too… there were rain but not that heavy and usually in the evening.

This time around, it was in the early morning and only lasted about half hour or so. But some might have experienced shorter or longer rains. The rain came with strong wind and the thunder was thundering like the sky is going to crack.

One of my colleague told how she was awaken by her dogs… funny she was not awaken by the loud thunders 😛 She said her dogs were scratching the door asking to be let inside the house. Her poor dogs were terrified by the sound of the thunder…

Our dogs also like that… they scared with thunder sometimes but they just keep quite and stay put outside the house. They are loyal doing their job as the security guard to us… as alarm systems. Without them, I think it will not so safe… the feeling of not safe will be in us… automatically… feel exposed.

But with the dogs outside guarding the house, it really makes the difference… it makes us feel safer… sometimes it’s much better than the electronic alarm systems. And having dogs is not like having electronic alarm systems installed inside… dog don’t give us the feeling of ‘false sense of security’… whenever the dogs bark, sure there is danger and they follow and attack the danger. But not like the electronic alarm systems… it only warns us and not attacking the danger… well of course it can do extra thing like recording whatever is going on. But better use both… 😀

OK, back to the thunder thingy… because of the loud thunder early this morning, some of the car’s alarm systems in the neighborhood was blaring its siren… thanks to their motion or shock sensors. So it was quite a noise early morning.
