My Creamy but Low Salt life

life

Today was quite… errr… I don’t know how to tell…

On my way to work this morning, massive traffic jam… stuck for like 45 minutes!

Normally I do 110 at this donwhill corner, but today it’s like ‘kura-kura’.

Then at the office, I have to skip attending one meeting at 2pm because I have to fix the HP DL140 server. Its SAS controller suddenly drops dead last week after I installed the CD-ROM.

After lunch, I bump with a colleague at the lobby. Last week I gave him an ‘expired’ phone number. The number supposed to belongs to an insurance agent. Luckily, last Friday, the agent called me to inform her new mobile number, so I gave him the new number.

Then went to have tea break around 4pm. I think because I was thinking so much about the server, I spill all my tea-c drink… all went to my pants… lucky on the lower part.

Went back to the office and contacted HP hotline. One thing I hate with their hotline is the delay… all HP support calls are routed to their support centre in INDIA!!! And the support person is also Indian… No, I’m not against that… I stayed with 5 Indian house-mates in KL before for 4 years… I almost able to talk Tamil if not because they talk to me in English… that’s why I can talk to HP support with no problem 😆

I really hate the delay, you talk then only after 2 or 3 seconds then you got the reply. I was with the HP support from 4.30pm to 5.30pm. He asked me to do all kind of stuff which I already tried before… at the end, he has to open case and will send a support.

So, to relieve myself tonight, I enjoyed my supper before going to take my bath then do one assignment before go sleep 😀

Airport today

life

Immediately after my last entry, at 2.00pm, I rush to the airport to send my sister. My two nephews tag along.

Wah… the road in the airport are in the mess. Once inside, you have to make so many turn right and left.

After dropping my sister, we went to Tanjung Aru 3rd Beach to watch aero plane but there is none landing or taking off.

They are playing with the camera capturing them self through the rear mirror.

On our way back home, saw a few small trucks carrying horse… there is a race-course next to the airport. The race must have ended.

My energy source

life

I still feel over-burned because everyday… meeting after meeting… discussion after discussion… How I wish I strike the Jack Pot…

Luckily I’m tough enough to sustained all these with my built-in energy and fitness 😉 … although I never exercise other than hitting golf balls at the driving range once in…. two weeks?

Anyway, for energy I drink this once in a while…

Raining ice phenomenon needs new X-Files

life

My area experienced a heavy rain and thunder yesterday evening around 4pm. But there was something with the rain and thunder… ice the size of golf balls.

Really miss the opportunity to experience and get the pictures of the hailstorms at my house yesterday.

My mum said, the roof was ‘noisy’ when it rains yesterday. Since it was a heavy rain with thunder, no one bother to check what happening outside. Well… I’m still at the office during that time.

Lately the sky is a bit unusual probably its too cold up there. The cloud is super white and thick in every evening other than raining most of the evening.

I don’t think this is the fist time it happened here. A few years back, my cousin had the same experience in Keningau about 200KM from here.

A small gift from Hewlett-Packard

life

We are a very heavy user of Hewlett-Packard products especially their laser printers. We have to buy lots of consumable every year. But the good thing is, they have some kind of loyalty program called Hewlett-Packard Original Rewards. Every original consumable such as toner or cartridge we purchase will carry special codes. When the codes are registered on the web, it will give points.

Last month I have about 40K points expiring from a total of about 100K points. I must exchange the points with goods offered. So after browsing through the good offered, I settled for one product which will cost me about 75K points. Last year, I’ve used about 45K  and 7K points for 2.5L Unbreakable Stainless Steel Pump Pot and Humboldt 12 in 1 Pocket Knife in Double Blister Pack.

On Monday, I received my 75K point’s gift from Hewlett-Packard.

PRINCESS Classic Grill, Fondue & Steamer.

Now, I can cook myself 😆

Who are in their right mind will do this?

life

Who are in their right mind will do this to children?
Asking an innocent young boy to commit suicide!
What are they thinking? What have they done to this boy?
Try asking the same thing to your 14 years old brother… who will not freak out?
On the newspaper yesterday… 24th March  2008.

Which one, die for the Queen or King?

life

Last year, my office was infested with termite. Well… not really the office, but our store room. The termite were eating our supplies of stationeries… it even try to eat the CD-ROM! Crazy Stupid Termite!

We immediately inform our building maintenance people who immediately called for the termite buster. Then we learned few things about termite from them. According to the termite buster, getting rid of termite is very very hard because of the termite bond with their QUEEN, they are willing to die for their queen. Yaiks… I thought we die for our KING?

So to kill them, they must make them thirsty by feeding them with chemicals, emm… I thought you kill them with the chemicals straight away like mosquitoes?… emmm… whatever, as long we can get rid of them because if you see the damage they have done, your hair will stand! Can’t even stand taking photos of it.

Industrial Valves

life

How many types of valves do you know? I only know a few types of valves which I directly or indirectly use. For instant like my car brake valves, clutch valves, water pipe valves and a few more which I can’t remember right now. Ooo yes… not to forget our heart valves, without it we will not survive.

There are many kind of valves design too, such as ball valves, butterfly valves, gate valves, solenoid valves and many more.

If you are looking for information on valves in the internet or want to buy valves for yourself or business, you should look at Zycon. Zycon is an online industrial directory of industrial, manufacturing, and distributing businesses, products and services. You can find many types of valves here.

What the heck is contail?

life

Do you know what is contrail?

Contrails or vapor trails are condensation trails and artificial cirrus clouds made by the exhaust of aircraft engines or wingtip vortices which precipitate a stream of tiny ice crystals in moist, frigid upper air.

OK, those are not my words… I got it from Contrail’s Wikipedia.

Why am I talking about contrail?

About two weeks ago, while trying to capture clouds, I saw the contrail… well I did not know what it’s called at that time. I just called it airplane exhaust smoke.

Then, last Thursday, Jonathan saw me downloading my photos from my camera to my notebook. When he saw the ‘contrail’ photo, he said… ‘Wah… contrail.’… I replied ‘WHAT?’… he answered ‘that is contrail’… I asked ‘are you sure that is the right name?’… he said he sure.

Then I google the word ‘contail’… yes I spell it CONTAIL because that’s what I thought it was at that time… That day was the first time I heard the word Contrail.

Captured these 3 photos with Canon PowerShot S5

Comments inside Comments

life

Starting yesterday, I will do my commenting within the particular comment itself. I’ve seen this being done by some of the fellow bloggers for sometimes and I thought I gonna need a plug-in or something to do it.

While going through the comments in my account yesterday, I realize how easy it was to do comments within comment. Doing so will make my site neater… 😀
