Yesterday, went to gym to burn some fat then had a large amount of bak-kut-teh to recover back the burned fat 😆 Have not been to gym for many many years… man… the food is so nice after sweating out… had 3 plates of rice and two large bowl of bak-kut-teh 😀

It is 7.30 am and I’m still packing for my trip to Tawau… working trip from today till Friday… have to go troubleshoot some network problem there… 😛

Every time going outstation to the east coast side like Tawau or Sandakan, the first thing that will come across in everybody mind is seafood… yes load of sea foods… and they are damm cheap down there…

Yesterday, colleague over there called and promised to feed us with sea foods till we vomit… 😛 man… need to take appetite suppressant pills… ok, need to stop here… have to get ready for the trip…

Woke up around 5.45am this morning (Sunday, 18th October)… had planed to join the World Cup Asia 2009 paintball teams training at Kinarut Paintball next to the Papar Road since early this week.

My colleagues who are in two teams are going to play for the Word Cup Asia 2009 paintball tournament in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur on 19th to 22nd November 2009… one in Division 3 and one in Division 4.

In the beginning, I was only planning to join them to take photos during their training and during the competition in Bukit Jalil… but at the end, I will be playing for the Division 4 team since they are short of one player… so I will be their reserve player… 😀 But I don’t think I will be playing during the competition… 😛

My earlier plan for the competition is to get a Pit Crew Pass so that I can enter the players’ area to photograph them… but since I will be one of the players… I will get a Player Pass instead… 😀 Hopefully everything goes well with the new plan…

It feel so different waking up so early in morning… the air is so fresh… 😀 … feels very healthy… then join the teams to warm-up… well, I did not join them stretching but more on following them around and photographing… but it’s quite tiring… with the morning sunshine… this is a great way on how to burn fat 😀

Then I join them playing in three games… it was fun except for the marker… the gun… problem… it gets jammed… no pallets coming out… it really pissed me off… on the first game where I got hit on my leg, my marker gets jammed but not as bad as on the third game where I only manage to shoot less than 20 pellets I guess… before I received a head shot!!!

The second match was the best… I become the last man standing for my team before I was hit with two close range shots from behind… 😛 I was the defender… so I only stayed in one place… 😆

Yesterday evening, while waiting for my MCSE class, from no where, suddenly I got severe headache… the right side of my head is so painful… but I just hold on…

I guess it is caused by lake of food or water… sometimes I do get headache when I skip any of my 3 important daily meals… morning, afternoon and night…

Later the class went for dinner… I ordered steam chicken rice and carbonated orange. The headache gone… probably by the food or the super cold drink… but it did come back on and off… well, it must be the food or probably caused by the small amount of beer I drank during the HTC Touch 2 and Windows Mobile 6.5 launching last night.

But with the headache, I still manage to join the rest to watch movie, Surrogates star by Bruce Willis, after the class… After the movie, went back and try to get enough sleep… I slept around 1.00am and woke up around 9.00 am this morning.

But the headache is still on and off… 🙁 I hope there is nothing serious… I hope it just something to do with lake of food… lake of sleep… or hang over… or probably cause by my eyes… blurry vision… dry eyes…

And I just hope the long headache will not pop any pimples… sometimes pimples pop up on my face or back for no reason when I have headache… if that happen, then I have to scramble for OXY 10 as my super duper self acne treatment from the pharmacy… 😛

Gaya Street’s Sunday market at Kota Kinabalu is one of the major attractions for weekend shopping… you can get all kind goods there… green goods like vegetables, fruits… even grass for your garden.

Pets are also sold there… cats, hamsters, fish, dogs…

Last Sunday, after taking photos of the Borneo International Marathon 2009, we went to the Gaya Street… to have breakfast around the area and also to be a tourist… snapping photos of the market 😀

There is one particular stall I was attracted while we were there… probably the others too… the stall is selling dogs… puppies… and dog supplies.

Dogs don’t really bother me… at home we have 4 dogs… but there is one particular dog at the stall attracted me… a bull dog… yea… I think it is a bull dog…. yea… first time I saw a real bull dog… only see them on TV before… maybe I should buy a bull dog in future… 😀

Almost a month ago, my HTC phone jump out from my shirt pocket while I was jumping…  accident happen when you never expect it… 🙁

Almost a month and I still have not done anything to it… the body slightly cracked and scratched… the screen panel open-up a little bit at the front and back…

I ask the shop and they said they can’t fix it because they don’t have parts to replace the broken part… it has to be sent to KL… damm… the only bonus is I still can use it…

I wonder if we can protect phone with insurance… anybody know if there is any insurance company out there who can give an insurance quote for hand phone?… Nowadays phone are very expensive… it is almost like a notebook… in fact it is a miniature notebook… mine runs on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 so it is a notebook… a micro notebook… if I can insure my golf set, I don’t see why we can’t insure a phone… the price is as much as a professional golf set!!!

Anyway, Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 is coming… yipeee… I got an invitation… HTC Touch 2 & Windows Mobile 6.5 East Malaysia Launch… on this Thursday… 15th October 2009 at Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu from 6.00 pm to 11.00 pm… Dinner surely be served… 😀

I hope I can get some info on the best option for me to fix my phone… 😛

I guess none… I dont think we have any security disability benefits here… unless the authority is not telling the public… clearly.

First, what is a social security disability benefit?

I believe only certain country has social security disability or SSD incorporated in their act like the United States.

Under the US federal Social Security Disability Act, “disability” is translated as “inability to engage in any substantial gainful activity by reason of any medically determinable physician or mental impairment which can be expected to last for a continuous period of not less than 12 months or result in death.”

Here, I guess, it is only available in insurance policies clause… yea… it really sounds more like an insurance policies clause to me…

I’m not really sure if the government is providing any benefits or aids in case of ‘inability’ as mentioned in the US act to any individual here. Of course there is a Welfare Department, but I guess the department is only responsible to issues like poor people…

But I think if there is a SSD benefits provided… I’m sure the are lots of ‘clever’ and ‘lazy’ people will take advantage and do fraud with it! 😛

Usually, towards the end of the year… there will be lots of invitations… all kind of invitations…. like year end party invitations, anniversary invitations, birthday invitations, wedding invitations… and so on.

Of all the invitations, the most expensive invitation will be the wedding invitation. Maybe some don’t feel or realize it if they are only getting a couple of wedding invitation in a year… but if you are getting a couple of invitation in a month, that will be something…

The other day, a friend was complaining about spending lots of money for this month… all because of wedding invitations. He has about 4 or 5 wedding invitation from relatives and friends.

Nowadays, the couple’s family prefer money than gift for their wedding gift… we call it ang-pau… red packet with money inside. Usually we give about RM50 to RM200… so, lets say you are going to give RM100 for each couple… multiply that with 5 invitations… that’s RM500 for the month of October alone… 😛

Yesterday, Saturday… 3rd October 2009, I help my friend to take photos for their paint ball game at Karambunai Lagoon Park… the lagoon is part of the Karambunai Resort. The park has many extensive sport and recreational activities… kayaking, water skiing, mangrove cruise and many more… will talk about that next time 😀

This is my second time covering a paint ball game… the first one was in April for the same friend for their woodsball game at KKIP.

Last time it was held in an open space area… a site for constructing building. This time it is held in woods next to the sea… at the lagoon 😀

It is quite difficult to take photos in the woods… especially when the players are dashing behind the woods… my camera can’t lock its focus on the player…

I reach the park a couple of minutes before 10am as promised since I have to replace my 3 years old back tires before that…

The first game started before 10.30 am with a cloudy weather… but still I got a bad sunburn on my neck and both hands 😛

The second game started before 11.50 am with a bit of cloud…

And the third game started before 1.00 pm with rain… I did not enter the arena coz I don’t have rain protection for my camera.

And the third game ended in less than 20 minutes because the players’ goggles are forging… if you never wear a paint ball mask with goggles before, let me tell you how it feels… it is hard to breath underneath it… and with the cold rain, it make the goggle fogging badly inside…

And luckily I have a ponco… a thin plastic rain coat… it was given to me by Disney when we were covering the Borneo Downhill Challenge 2009 in May.

You can either swim in the lagoon or use the shower area to clean yourself… but the shower area was quite a distance from the arena… fresh water supply?… yes they do have… in fact they have many pipes without faucets around the park… it would be nice if they have it working so that guest can clean themselves without taking a long journey to the shower area.

The day before yesterday, Thursday, when we went to have dinner before class, we passed the MST Golf Shop in Karamunsing…

What attracted me is that they are having sales… cool 😀

I saw some sign showing 50% discount!!! Nice… 😮

I’m in need of new shirts… and when I said shirt, I don’t mean those shirts like tuxedo shirts, jacket, coat… or any of those suit kind of shirt… not even long sleeves shirt… neck tie or tuxedo pants… although it makes me look smart and neat when wearing those kind of dress… but I hate wearing those suits… it’s very warm… makes me sweat a lot… and it don’t gives me much freedom when doing my work… 😛

I prefer polo shirt… or tee shirt…  especially golf polo tee shirt 😀 and I need a large one… like XXL if it Asian size or L if it US size 😀 It’s not easy to find large size shirt if it not golf shirt… well, as far as in here…

Maybe I will go and get some of those golf shirt on sale next week before class 😀 My shirts are faded already… 😛

On Wednesday, immediately after the MCSE class, 5 of us rush to 1Borneo to catch the Where Got Ghost? movie…

The movie has been on show for sometimes… we have been planning to watch this movie since a couple of weeks ago… but timing always not right.

So this time, we make sure we go coz we worried it will be removed from the show soon.

When the others were talking about it before, I thought it was an English movie… I did not bother to check it on the web… So, I was shocked when it started with Chinese character… But the movie is not bad at all… instead of getting scared, I was laughing all the way with all the stupid funny ghost story they have… there are actually 3 different ghost stories in the movie.

After the movie, I went into the 1Borneo toilet… washroom. I think everyone know this 1Borneo has a bad quality in workmanship. The ceilings are leaking… the tiles are popping out and falling down… since the first day it was open.

The toilet has a great gadget… for guys, while leaking into the bowl they can watch some TV or video shows on the LCD screen on each of the pee bowl.

But they are all broken now… some covered with card board… probably the LCDs has been cracked… punched or smashed by some hooligan…

The only sparkling there is the floor… during the night, when there is no more people, only us going out from the cinema, the floor is sparkling like a glass tile… maybe it is marble tiles, but not sure if it marble or just a cheap floor tiles…

And talking about one leak… 1Borneo nick name is 1Bocor or 1Leak coz it leak and broken everywhere… 😛
