Golf Membership Renewal
credit cards, Dalit, golf November 10th, 2007Yesterday I went to renew my Dalit Bay Golf & Country Club membership. My membership has expired since 28th October. I’m not the ‘rajin’ type to go under the sun and whacking ball, but golfing is a good way to sweat under the sun once in a while. Luckily someone is helping to look for new member so that it can be joined with old member for the Joined Membership which is much cheaper. When I pay it using my favorite credit card, it cannot go through… damm… lucky I have another card. Meaning, it safe to carry minimum of 2 credit cards and maximum of 2 credit cards… to prevent over spending and for security… ha ha ha…

How much is the fee? I am a member of a golf club too but purely for investment purposes.
This is what my idea of an ideal golf club is: when I was working in Ipoh years ago a friend frequently invited me to the Perak Royal Golf Club – not to play golf but eat at the fabulous restaurant there and play tennis. There are also swimming pools, squash courts and even bowling alleys. Of course you could also play golf if you wanted to.

My bf have a golf membership too, but he hardly (actually, NEVER) plays golf. We only use the membership for free parking and makan. LOL!

Ben, the fee is almost 2K… it is a term membership, have to renew every year not like the life membership which paid every month about $50 per month… life is transferable, so you can say it is an investment.
Cindy/Ben, it sounded like the membership is not for golf… one is for playing tennis which made me laugh… and, WHY?… then one is as a parking… which turned into an expensive parking with a convinient of course.. 🙂 Bah, kalu kamu banyak membership, kasi sia lah bah…

swordie: it’s all in the name of exclusivity 😉 it’s not like going to Kompleks SUkan which is open to the general public – in the golf club it’s very exclusive, all high class, all well maintained…..
