This is the first part of my back posting about our trip to Pulau Gaya. I supposed to go there on Monday, 19 January, but I decided to join the committee and the rest a day early on Sunday, 18 January.

For the Monday schedule’s trip, everyone have to be at the jetty at Jesselton Point before 6.30am! Meaning I have to wake up around 5am or probably earlier than that and be there before 6.30 am coz that is the time the boat leaving for Pulau Gaya.

Since there are two scheduled trip for the journey, no way I will take this one. The other schedule is Sunday at 1.30 pm which is much better… further more we will not have any activity from our arrival at Gayana Eco Resort until the next morning.

I’m not part of the committee but decided to lend a hand to the committee since my colleagues are part of the committee involved in setting the ICT gears. Josie aka Kupi send Edi and me from office to Jesselton Point’s jetty around 12.30 pm. Kupi is not part of the trip but lend a hand to send over the ICT gears… 6 projectors, 3 notebooks and some other stuffs which was transported in another vehicle… and in fact she followed all the way to Gayana.

We were the first to arrive coz I can’t see the others. Since we can’t drive all the way to the jetty, we have to drop our equipments and luggage at the entrance of the Jesselton Point. Luckily Gayana Eco Resorts provide assistant to transports our luggage and gears to the jetty using their long trolley.
