Woke up around 6.30 this morning which is unusual coz normally it should be after 7… then immediately switch on my notebook. Check for PPP opps, got one… then check email, got one unexpected email from mrBadak.

I’ve sent message to guik sometime ago regarding my feeds at giuk… all my feed to giuk will be -8 hours making my posting as if +0 hours. Anyway, he said he ‘ter-mis’ my email but has fixed it… now back to normal to +8 hours. Glad it is fixed 😛

At work, did loads of work till got no mood…

Lunch time, went to City Mall… lunch at… forgot the shop’s name… but it’s one of the shops outside the mall… same row with the Japanese Restaurant etc…

Went back just before 2pm… purposely did that coz I want to collect my air ticket at JPKN. Going to KL for a week course… again…

Then around 2.30, I joined the system discussion at office… Project Management System… which finished around 6pm… 😮

My credit card’s number was changed after 7 years. Yea, that is cool… getting new card with new number! But that is nightmare!!! Imagine, after using the same number for 7 year, and have signed-up for auto-pay or auto-debit to your insurance policies, your network provider, your post-paid phone service and many more… now I’m starting getting warning or reminder letters from them because they can’t debit my payment through my credit card… my old credit card!!!

Dammm… this is so troublesome. Yesterday I went to update my insurance policies auto-debit at Karamunsing. Then today, I went to Maxis at Damai to update my post-paid phone auto-pay.

Unfortunately, after paying and updating my Maxis account, I couldn’t open my car using the remote control. I tried many times but it just don’t want to… dammm… there is no ‘clouck clouck’ sound…

Then my colleague said, there is a sound… I do hear it but it’s too low that I thought it’s not from my car. Then I put my ear closer to the engine compartment and push my remote control button… yes, there is ‘clouck’ and ‘clouck clouck’.

So, I disable the alarm… you know… one ‘clouck’ is for lock and ‘clouck clouck’ for unlock… ‘un lock’ = ‘clouck clouck’… ‘clouck’ = ‘lock’

After ‘clouck clouck’, I unlock my car using the key… cool, the alarm did disarm.  I started the car, it don’t want to… no sound at all… since it’s very hot, I tried to wound down the window… mann… the battery is so weak… the windows is opening sooooo slow.

I check the battery but I can’t do nothing… of course the battery is there lah… but how am I going to fix it now… so I called a friend… asked ‘got jumper-cable or not’… he said ‘got’… so ask him to rescue me lah…

Since I’m already hot and sweating like mad cow, decided to go have a drink while waiting for him. After about 10 minutes, I remember there is one car accessories shop nearby. Well, I can just buy a new battery and replace the weak one… I can ask the shop to do it for me… so no hot and sweat.

So, I went to check the car battery to find out the pole position… the position of the +ve pole, whether it is on the right or left. When I press the remote to ‘clouck’ the car… wow… the ‘clouck’ is so loud… I believe it just like the usual ‘clouck’… but at this point, it does  sound very loud. Then, thinking…. since the ‘clouck’ is so loud, the battery must have ‘self-healed’!!!

So, I tried to start the car…. COOOL… it started!!! So, I was saved with embarrassment… save some money from buying a new battery too… what a day!

The bomb scare yesterday was indeed a hoax… September 4, Daily Express clipping:

First it was a tortoise… and now a Bird!!

A few minutes ago… after shutting down my notebook, I went to the loo and plan go to sleep. But to my amazement, there is a bird sleeping on the bathroom’s window… wow…

Cool, I took my camera and took its photos…

The bird is sleeping alone…

Can’t see the head… and I don’t want to wake it up.

I think, the bird is one of these… took this last saturday after watching the junior moutain bikers time-trial race.

The Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) course today was quite easy… perhaps too easy 8) gain some about the wireless standards etc.

The evening session was not bad since we are given an AP and each with USB WiFi adapter… I took the opportunity to configure the AP… configuring is very easy… done it many times with my office AP and my home ADSL WiFi router. We were requested to hard reset the AP. After doing so, I proceeded configuring the AP through the WiFi… damm… I did a silly mistake by setting up the admin IP (the only IP allowed to access the AP after that) which is not the same subnet as the AP’s IP itself and rebooted the AP… no harm… I just hard reset it for the second time… After halfway done, just before the tea break, the lecturer asks how was it, I said I configured it through the WiFi… he looks a bit baffled… he ask if he given me the UTP cable… I said, nope… then he gave me a cable after the tea break… but for me, with or without the cable, it’s not a problem to configure the AP 😛 not sure what he was thinking… My group is Group 3, so we are supposed to name our SSID Group3… Guess what?… I named our AP SSID NegaraKuKu instead 8) ha ha ha ha… cool yea…

Anyway, I went out for lunch with a colleague at the Double Six Monuments at Grace Point Sembulan… when we came back… ok, forgot to tell, the course is in Sadong Jaya Karamunsing by the wat… roads are blocked in that area… many policeman… after parking, I went to get closer to the crowd… I ask one of the Telekom security guard… he said there is a BOMB!!!… cool… I have my camera with me… too bad, it’s not my super duper Canon S5… it’s my Casio Exilim EX S500 with x3 zoom 🙁 so can’t get cool photos… we see lah what the newspaper report tomorrow…

I have few photos to put into my blog… unfortunately, I have not enough time to edit them… photos taken at Kampung Nelayan, Bukit Padang… photos taken when a bunch of junior mountain bikers having time trial for Jelajah Negeri Sembilan 2007 if I’m not mistaken… my new banner is one of the bikers photo 8) while taking the photo, the kid manage to show his V sign while struggling climbing the hill…

Tomorrow I’m going to have one whole week course… pretty lame course… Wireless Security Management… hopefully I can ride on the Streamyx Hotspot for free after that… 8)

emm… donno when can I publish the photos… then after that, I will be off for another week for Microsoft TechEd SEA 2007 😛

This morning, went to Likas to hit 100 balls with Adrian… 🙂

Yesterday, spent $65 for a pair of wipers for my car… manage to bring it down from $90… cool yea… 8)

Better get some sleep for the course… I hope it will be interesting…

At about 9pm just now, while watching tv, I saw something crawling near the staircase. When I look at it carefully, the thing is a tortoise…

I rush to my car an get my super duper Canon PowerShot S5 🙂

My nephews was so excited at the creature… but some how scared with it… u know lah kids…

The dogs are barking on it… the tortoise looks scared… its head was poping out and in when it saw the dog or us.

It actualy try to run but I got pitty on it, so I lifted it and put it near the swamp… “bye bye tortoise” the kids said.

Last Friday, I went to pay our outstanding water bill… $460.00!!!

It was an outstanding bill since year 80s… well it was not our fault. They issued us an extra bill 4 years ago for about $1200.00 if I’m not mistaken. We don’t remember skipping paying any bills… but I think this must be caused by their ‘idiot’ meter reader… they simply make up some amount then throw our bill somewhere whithout checking our meter… then pass the copy to their office to be entered into the system…

We did not pay it immediately… until there was an installment program to pay water bill. When we took the program, I think I paid $150 only then spread the balance to 6 month installment.

After that, I did not pay for one year I think… until they started cutting water supply. When they cut our water supply… I rushed to them and pay some amont then spread the balance to 6 months installment again… 🙂 then never pay after that. 

Then after another year… they started cutting water supply again… I have to rush to them again and pay some amount and spread the balance to another 6 months installment…

Then, last week, we received another notice… but this time, since the amount is already small, I just pay the full amount. This month, I’m poorer $460.00 🙁

I was given 6 tickets for the SMSM Charity Concert about 3 weeks ago. I put in on my desk… unfortunately it was piled with some papers after that. I forgot about it until I accidentally lifted one paper and saw the ticket this evening before leaving the office.

When I check the details… OMG!!! The dinner is for tomorrow!!! Each ticket cost $150… ohh noooo… where the heck am I going to find $900?… I just spend about $460 this afternoon for outstanding water bill… talk about that later.

Today, there was a workers union meeting… well it’s not exactly workers union like the one you see on TV or movie… it just that every category of staff are represented and the representative will present issues regarding their working condition, environment, etc in this meeting.

Since our representative is on leave, I wanted to ‘volunteer’ myself… because there was no news who will replace our representative. I wanted to bring one important issue about our position… this morning, I received SMS from the chairman… well I called him last night about my intention and he not sure too if there will be a representative for us. He informed that there is a representative… OK then, I doesn’t have to attend the meeting. So, I just email the issue I wanted to bring to our representative… and I’m hoping it will be looked into… so that we can get ‘promoted’ and get extra salary 😛
