First we went to one which is a block away from where we had our breakfast. Then we proceeded to Lintas Square. We stroll at 3 car accessories shops there… but nothing new… boring… then decided to go to Putatan. Along the way, we stop at another shop which is on the other side of Lido.

While there, I saw the tiny car… I saw it many times on the road but never closed to it… not bad… good for crusing around doing nothing I guess.
 
But look at the price… RM90K… that’s about USD$25K

Then we proceeded to Putatan… to Fuji Car Accessories. I guess this is the biggest car accessories in town at the moment.
  
  

Today no work… it’s public holiday today. I woke up around 6.30am… then continued sleeping until a friend called around 11.00am for breakfast and to go some places. I get ready and went to pick him.

We had our breakfast at Taman Chantek near Lido. I had my favorite Kon Low Mee with pork meat… then added another bowl of noodle… one bowl is not enough.

After breakfast we went to some car accessories shops… well, just to update our self with what available in the market now…

I’m so lazy to write for the past few days… or a week. It was quite tiring to be part of our organizing committee for our annual workshop. Last Wednesday, 28 November 2007, I went to Tuaran Beach Resort. I followed Darius’ VIGO 4×4. I left the office around 1PM for home to do my packing. I have not pack a single item for the 3 days workshop… which ended on Saturday, 1 December 2007… which happened to be the opening of the F2000 Speed Boat challenge at Kota Kinabalu.

Darius picked me just after 2PM. I have not taken my lunch so we stopped at Lido to buy ‘goreng pisang’… wanted to take-away KFC, but the resort is providing lunch. And of course while at Lido, I bought some JackPot at TOTO which did not strike any prize 🙁

Then we detour to KPIM Complex to take some of the workshop materials to take along with us.

 
We arrived at the Tuaran Beach Resort around 4PM… and straight away dived into the food! Two other colleagues arrived almost at the same time with us. They are in charge of the accommodations and we will be in charge of multimedia/sound/photography.

After the workshop, I have loads of works waiting at the office… all are last-minutes request… that caused me more lazy to write… anyway, I will do some photo posting of our workshop later.

Something unexpected… a buffalo (or kerbau or kalabau) running across the road dragging along some trees hooked on its rope which is tied on its neck. Then we saw a bunch of people inside a truck chasing after it… they must be going to slaughter the buffalo.

Wonderful, the sun is shining and it is cooler with a light breeze since it was raining for the past 2 days. Today, have to wake up early too coz got another course. I think I know who is the lecturer gonna be… we’ll see lah later. The course will be at HQ, so have to fight for parking outside since the place always crowded.

wow… it has been raining for almost 48 hours or could be more than that. It’s not raining continuously. The rain did stop like half to 4 hours once in a while. The good thing is, luckily it’s only rain, and there is no strong wind. The sun was shying away for the past 2 days, so all cloths are hanging to dry. I hope the cloths don’t get rotten… I’m running out of cloths.

China planned to re-cycle used condoms into rubber band. Usually rubber bands are used to tie including tying hair. How many of us… woman… out there willing to tie their hair with rubber bands made from re-cycled condoms?

Experts said, re-cycling used condoms into general use is very un-healthy. It might spread AIDS or STD. So from now on, we have to be careful with rubber bands…

But Singapore has been re-cycling used condoms long time ago, here is the story…

A Malaysian was boasting and teasing a Singaporean about chewing gums…

Malaysian:
You all Singaporean cannot eat chewing gum lah… because you all don’t know how to eat it, that’s why lah your government banned it… so ‘kesian’ one…  Here, we can have and eat all kind of chewing gums… ha ha ha…

Singaporean:
In Malaysia, what do you do with used condoms?

Malaysian:
You so sick one lah… of course we throw it lah… You want to use it again meh? chee sing… soii wo…

Singaporean:
Do you know what we do with used condoms in Singapore?

Malaysian:
Don’t know lah… Use it again kah? So sick kah you all…

Singaporean:
No lah… we re-cycle our used condoms into chewing gums and export it to Malaysia.

OK, this is no ordinary milk… it is breast milk. And it’s not me who producing and selling it… but by Martha Heller age 22 who advertised her offer at The Gazette newspaper. She wants to sell her milk because she doesn’t need it. She is offering 3 litters of her milk for USD$200.

She said, her 4 months old daughter doesn’t drink from bottle and her freezer is overflowing with her milk she pumped since August.

OK, here is good information to all… Linda Klein, a lactation consultant at Mercy Medical Centre in Cedar Rapids, said breast milk can generally stored in a freezer for up to SIX months.

I will be in two meetings for the whole day tomorrow. In the morning, it’s going to start from 9.00am until 1.00pm. Lucky, breakfast at 8.00am and lunch at 1.00pm will be provided, so I don’t have to use my credit cards since it will be held in a 5* hotel. In the evening, there will be another meeting from 2.00pm to 5.00pm. And both meeting are… I’ll say ‘crucial’… hopefully there will be no ‘firing’… else I just turn to ‘excusy’ mode or ‘keras kepala’ mode… or worse turn to ‘screen saver’ mode…

There supposed to be 4 places for course in KL reserved for our teams since few weeks ago, week before raya to be exact… what teams are they? No need to tell lah… For my team, I volunteered myself. Two other teams, their ‘headman’ volunteered. The last team did not nominate any of their members since the course offered is not suitable for them.

Last week, one of the ‘headmen’ pulled out because of other commitment and replaced with a non-team member. Then during the registration, it went up-side-down again… the other ‘headmen’ can’t go becoz the course he supposed to attend is fully booked.

So, left me and the other replacement… then suddenly, the replacement also cannot go becoz ‘sakit mata’… red eyes disease… what the heck…

Earlier, I already booked my hotel at BB area, the same hotel I stayed last month. Then, since left me alone, I changed my hotel… I’ve completed my new hotel reservation. But the problem now, the other hotel, I can’t call them becoz their phone line is busy for the past one hour… dammm… if I don’t canceled my reservation with them, I’m worried my card will be charged…

Now I’m sitting in the office trying to complete some work stuff… and at the same time trying to reach the hotel…
