You don’t have to travel up and down to the bank; you can do it from your home computer. Then, you can do it anonymously, your family or your neighbors or the bank clerks will not know that you are getting cash advance… you can keep the cash to yourself and spent it as you planned. Since it is done online, the application can be completed faster and once your loan is approved, the loan normally sent overnight via wire transaction to your checking or savings account.

Mortages & Home Loans Protection

loan

For the past few weeks, the papers have two things in common… two types of related advertisement. One is about new housing projects and one is about bank’s loans or mortgage.

But the news from the national bank is not favorable. The interest rates are rising, which is weird since the world share market is considered good at the moment. Is our country economic inside a ‘bubble’? Will there be any ‘bubble burst’ soon? If that comes true, we will be in big trouble… inflation will hit us all.

Some bank’s Basic Lending Rate or BLR has hit almost 8%. The biggest looser in this case would be the borrower… you and me who have loans or mortgages. Worse will be those who are borrowing large amount like the housing loans.

For those who are already committed to their mortgage and feels they had a poor credit remortgage, you should talk to an experienced mortgage advisor to compare mortgages available in the market and to have a better solutions.

One thing that everyone must aware is the security of their mortgages. When you commit to any mortgages, you must take mortgage protection. Mortgage protection will cover you just incase you lose your job unexpectedly, or if you fell ill or had an accident or any other reason which preventing you to pay your mortgages. Always think security first even if you are a risk taker.

what a day…

blog, life

My credit card’s number was changed after 7 years. Yea, that is cool… getting new card with new number! But that is nightmare!!! Imagine, after using the same number for 7 year, and have signed-up for auto-pay or auto-debit to your insurance policies, your network provider, your post-paid phone service and many more… now I’m starting getting warning or reminder letters from them because they can’t debit my payment through my credit card… my old credit card!!!

Dammm… this is so troublesome. Yesterday I went to update my insurance policies auto-debit at Karamunsing. Then today, I went to Maxis at Damai to update my post-paid phone auto-pay.

Unfortunately, after paying and updating my Maxis account, I couldn’t open my car using the remote control. I tried many times but it just don’t want to… dammm… there is no ‘clouck clouck’ sound…

Then my colleague said, there is a sound… I do hear it but it’s too low that I thought it’s not from my car. Then I put my ear closer to the engine compartment and push my remote control button… yes, there is ‘clouck’ and ‘clouck clouck’.

So, I disable the alarm… you know… one ‘clouck’ is for lock and ‘clouck clouck’ for unlock… ‘un lock’ = ‘clouck clouck’… ‘clouck’ = ‘lock’

After ‘clouck clouck’, I unlock my car using the key… cool, the alarm did disarm.  I started the car, it don’t want to… no sound at all… since it’s very hot, I tried to wound down the window… mann… the battery is so weak… the windows is opening sooooo slow.

I check the battery but I can’t do nothing… of course the battery is there lah… but how am I going to fix it now… so I called a friend… asked ‘got jumper-cable or not’… he said ‘got’… so ask him to rescue me lah…

Since I’m already hot and sweating like mad cow, decided to go have a drink while waiting for him. After about 10 minutes, I remember there is one car accessories shop nearby. Well, I can just buy a new battery and replace the weak one… I can ask the shop to do it for me… so no hot and sweat.

So, I went to check the car battery to find out the pole position… the position of the +ve pole, whether it is on the right or left. When I press the remote to ‘clouck’ the car… wow… the ‘clouck’ is so loud… I believe it just like the usual ‘clouck’… but at this point, it does  sound very loud. Then, thinking…. since the ‘clouck’ is so loud, the battery must have ‘self-healed’!!!

So, I tried to start the car…. COOOL… it started!!! So, I was saved with embarrassment… save some money from buying a new battery too… what a day!

Transferring car ownership hassle

blog

Do you know that, if you want to transfer ownership of a car… a car which already has an owner… you have to get certification from PUSPAKOM?.. Yes, you really need their approval, not only for commercial vehicle but including private vehicle now.

Yesterday, I spent most of my time outside doing just that. In the morning around 9am, we send the car to PUSPAKOM. First, you get a form and a queue number from the counter. Then you must quickly fill-up the form… well yesterday were not many people around. When you queue number is called, you return the form and pay $30 for another form which is used to inspect your car.

Then bring the car into the queue for inspection. Lucky there are not many car in the queue… it’s like we are the 5th car in the queue. They said the queue normally very long. Then the car gets inspected after waiting in the queue for almost an hour. They check the chassis and engine numbers… make sure it is clean so that the numbers are visible. They opened some part of the rubber on the car door frame. This is to check if your vehicle is a joined vehicle… or half-cut… or ‘kereta potong’.
That’s all the inspections they did… I see some other vehicles being inspected more than that. Took out the car from the queue and park it. So, far it took use one and half hour. Then waited for the report’s result… that was like another half hour. Finally, we got our pass or LULUS report. Then the next stage was JPJ… where we have to go through queue after queue.
