Journey around Sabah – starting with northern route

journey, kudat, north route, pitas

Starting tomorrow, I will going around the state in my Journey Around Sabah… to do official works. I will start with the northern route first… starting from Kota Kinabalu to Tuaran to Kota Belud to Kota Marudu to Pitas to Kudat and to Simpang Mangayau… errr… the last one is not an official site to visit… πŸ˜› But will be taking an opportunity to visit the place… again… πŸ˜€

It’s a lot of stations to visit in a short period… Tuesday to Thursday… so most probably I will not be visiting some of the stations… I will adjust my journey accordingly… accordingly at every station… it all depending on how long I will be at one station…

My journey this time is going to be a bit pack compared to my previous journey in 2008… coz during that year, I started my journey around September… but this time, it is at the end of October… and there are loads of work in the office right now waiting to be completed before the year end… πŸ˜› The work load has show it sign… suddenly this morning I feel pain on my nose… you know, pain deep inside the nose skin… and a little reddish bulging… yeah… an acne products at work on my nose… πŸ˜› This thing always appears every time after I eat roasted peanuts… I actually ate a packets of roasted peanuts provided by the Malaysia Airlines… yea, flew to KL two weeks ago… anyways, need to go sleep soon… need to be fit for my journey tomorrow, and to make sure no more ‘jerawat’ popping up… πŸ˜›

custom stocking for the season

christmas, christmas stocking, custom made stockings, decoration, santa claus

Christmas is just around the corner… so today I’m gonna write about Christmas… not Christmas tree but specially personalized Christmas stocking… custom-made stockings πŸ˜€

Decorating home with colorful stockings for Santa Claus to put Christmas presents for the whole family are fun… Of course there is no Santa Claus… I mean the real flying Santa Claus with Rudolf the rain deer… just don’t let the kids know about it… πŸ˜› It’s the spirit of magical Christmas season that matters…

So to make sure Santa Claus can find your stocking… well, Santa Claus should know where are your stockings coz Santa is magical… but let just pretend and tell the kids that Santa will need to find them… so stocking need to be colorful and bright so it can be seen from far… so the fun is to look for colorful and bright stocking… or you can make them together… it’s not necessarily made of cloths… never seen stocking made of leaf… let’s go green this year… why not try making them using leafs… coconut leafs… palm leaves… pandan leaves πŸ˜€

And tomorrow I’m going to start my Journey Around Sabah again… by going North first… πŸ˜€

mount merapi is active again…

disaster, earthquake, medical cart, medical relief, merapi, merbabu, volcano, Yogyakarta

Once again, Indonesia is going to face another natural disaster… Mount Merapi located on the border between Central Java and Yogyakarta, Indonesia, the most active volcano in Indonesia is starting showing its color again… it has erupted regularly since 1548… and experts are forecasting the eruption this time would be much more spectacular than the last one in 2006.

Smoke can be seen from the top of the mountain at least 300 days a year… and during the weekend, officials recorded about 500 volcanic earthquakes activities… seismic activity… in the area. People living within 10km or 6 miles around the mountain were told to evacuate and seek shelters at a safer place. Other neighboring countries are getting their medical cart ready for deployment for medical relief if the volcano erupted.

On May 27, 2006, an earthquake with 5.6 magnitude about 30 miles southwest of Mount Merapi killed at least 5,000 people and made about 200,000 people homeless… but the Merapi eruption itself only caused two fatalities πŸ˜›

UMW Toyota holds special service for Toyota Crown

brake master cylinder leak, lexus, press release, toyota, toyota crown

Press Release…

SHAH ALAM (Malaysia): UMW Toyota Motor has confirmed that only eight Toyota Crown models it had imported from Japan might be affected by a brake master cylinder leak.

In a statement, the company said it would contact all affected customers and hold a special service campaign to replace the brake master cylinder seal.

The affected vehicles were produced between Nov 8, 2004 and Jan 4, 2006 in Japan.

If unattended to, a small amount of the brake fluid could slowly leak from the brake master cylinder, resulting in illumination of the brake warning lamp.

No other Toyota and Lexus models are affected by this campaign. Lexus vehicles sold by Lexus Malaysia was produced in the end of year 2006.

Customers may also contact UMW Toyota Motor free phone line 1-800-8-869682 for further information or assistance.

useless tacher

balancing equations, General Teaching Council, GTC, ionic compounds, John O'Gaunt Community Technology College, Nisar Ahmed, science homework help, useless teacher

If you see a headlines like this… “useless teacher banned for life”… you surely gonna feel uneasy… USELESS is a horrible word for a teacher… who are the kids gonna ask when they need science homework help for instant?… how could a teacher become useless?… well that’s what happen to Nisar Ahmed age 46 in United Kingdom as reported in the news today… and he is the first teacher banned for life!!! WOW…

Britain’s General Teaching Council (GTC) found him guilty of gross professional incompetence… GTC said he is a risk to pupils… πŸ˜› What kind of teacher is this?… what’s wrong with this teacher? GTC judged Nisar as incapable of ever improving his work… WOW… probably he keep juggling with his responsible with his balancing equations… mind you he is the head of business studies at the John O’Gaunt Community Technology College in Hungerford, Berkshire.

He had taught for a total of 13 years at the school but his management of lessons was ‘invariably’ below standard, the GTC disciplinary panel said. Probably he is too busy learning scientific stuffs likeΒ ionic compounds and homogeneous mixture instead of improving hisΒ  work management… anyways, record show, so far 13 teachers have been banned from the profession for fixed periods for incompetence since 2000 but Nisar is the first to receive a prohibition order without time limit.

toyota re-call again…

brake failure, head gasket, honda civic, lexus, Los Angeles auto repair, prius, recall, toyota, toyota crown

What is wrong with Toyota?… re-call after re-call… it’s like endless… are they being sabotage??? There is something really wrong… Toyota supposed to be having one of the highest safety standard in their vehicles.

Just few months ago, Toyota US paid a huge amount… in billions of dollars… to the US Government as penalty after recalling millions of their Toyota and Lexus vehicles. Even their best hybrid car, the Prius, did not escape from the safety issues fiasco… it even went to live national TV shows when one of the Prius encounters brake failure… probably all the Los Angeles auto repair shops ceased their work to watch the incident on that day.

I feel pity and sad with Toyota… coz Toyota cars are my favorite although I did own a Honda Civic EG8 before… well that was during The Fast And The Furious season πŸ˜› And I was really saddened when they pull out from the Formula 1 this year… someone even made a joke… “If Toyota were in F1 this season, they surely gonna win… they are unstoppable!”… coz they don’t have brakes πŸ˜›

And today’s news, 22 October 2010, reported Toyota Singapore will recall 1.53 million vehicles globally to fix a brake-related problem that may cause fluid leaks… AGAIN?… The models affected by the recalls are the Lexus GS300, Lexus RX300 and the Toyota Crown. But the actual number affected in Singapore is not known yet… and hopefully the problem will not go further than brake fluid leakage… if Toyota start recalling for engine problem like faulty head gasket, I think people will stop buying Toyota or Lexus soon… I just hope Toyota can fix all these problem.

math is like alien to me now

college algebra, free math help, math homework help, problem solver

I was watching the TV as usual the other night when my nephew asked for math homework help… well, math is not a problem for… while I was in secondary school long time ago, math is my number one favorite subject… I’m a good math problem solver… but I’m not sure how good I’m now with math… I have been using calculator and computer ever since I graduated… not my brain… so my brain is a bit rusty i guess…

When I look at the math question, my brain went blank!… I don’t understand the question… man… I feel like I’m so stupid in front of my nephew… the question is not even close like college algebra but yet I don’t understand the question… πŸ˜›

When I browse through the work book for other questions… I realize that I am completely detached from what I’ve learn in school before… although I can recall some what I’ve learned in school, I still can’t completely understand the math questions… either the math has evolved till I’m completely outdated, or the math is still the same but it just me with rusty brain… at the end, I did not manage to help my nephew completely with his homework… I ask him to search the internet instead for a free math help online… after all, they are the new generation who supposed to use the internet to do their homework… πŸ˜›

Human Growth Hormone

hgh, Human Growth Hormone, spray, steroid, Sylvester Stallone

Human Growth Hormone or HGS is similar to steroids. Most of us know what is steroids but not many know about HGH. Both are banned in sports… they are categorized as illegal substances. But previously, urine analysis could not detect doping with HGH, so the ban was unenforceable until the early 2000s when blood tests that could distinguish between natural and artificial HGH in blood can be used and enforced.

HGH can be in the form of hgh spray or pills… or even injection. HGH not only enhance the muscle buildup but it also gives more energy, better athletic performance, and many other benefits to its users. And because of its benefits in reducing wrinkles and burning fats which made it as the fountain of youth, many takes HGH without thinking the side effects which can potentially do serious damage to heart valve and other damage if not used correctly, or even if used in the correct doses.

Sylvester Stallone was caught and fined for using HGH…
