online cheap tickets deal

cheap, consert, sports, stadium, ticket

After browsing through the ACheapSeat site, I wonder if it possible to do the same over here. Inside the site, searching for event and seat availability is really easy… and for the cheap tickets too. It’s just like searching and booking for a cheap airplane ticket and then choosing your seat right from the web.

I know in US there are thousands of stadiums and halls with thousands of sports and musical events happening everyday… buying hot tickets like Wells Fargo Center Tickets, Chicago Theatre Tickets, Los Angeles Lakers Tickets, Jeff Dunham Tickets, and Jerry Seinfeld Tickets will not be easy… Imagine the stadium capacity is in tenth or hundredths of thousands… how long will be the queue like?…

So the best solution for ticketing will be to do it online… it is fast and cheap process… not just for booking and buying tickets but getting the best and cheapest deal around. As a ticket buyer, if you are chasing for cheap tickets, you can’t possibly do that by driving from one tickets seller to another just to compare prices… it will be cool if someone can compile the lists of ticket prices and then tell or just sell us the cheapest tickets for an event… That’s exactly what ACheapSeat doing… It will be nice if the same service can be extended for events over here… maybe not… coz there areΒ  not many events happening here everyday… excepts for movies tickets… πŸ˜›

corporate jersey

clothing, corporate jacket, hospital scrubs, suit

Lately… I mean for the past 2 or 3 years… or probably longer, some government departments have started using corporate jacket… I called it corporate jersey… πŸ˜›

These corporate jackets are more like what the Japanese wear to identify their corporate or company or rank or posistion… in fact it has become a norm for every company here to come out with their jacket styling and colour… but the colour usually follows their corporate colour.

For me… although I don’t have one… corporate jersey are good. It makes uniformity… just like the schools uniforms or hospital scrubs… by just looking at what the person wearing, we can tell which corporate or company he or she working at or what position or section the person holding.

And one good reason to have corporate jersey, staffs do not have to spend money on expensive clothing… they just have to get those standard corporate jersey… and don’t have to worry about matching their shirt with trouser or shoe… πŸ˜› But unfortunately recently there is instruction that civil servant are not allowed to wear corporate jersey anymore to meetings… for man, they must wear necktie and suit… which I don’t like to wear… πŸ˜› coz my standard jersey is short sleeves shirt with no necktie… it’s a hot country u know… πŸ˜€

long holiday

cleaning, Eid Mubarak, Hari Raya, holiday, junk, linen, matouk, national day, weather

It’s a long holiday this week… Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday… meaning only work on Monday and Friday. It is becoz of the double public holiday, and they overlaps each other… πŸ˜›

The Eid Mubarak or Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on 30th and 31st August plus the Malaysia National Day on 31st August… Since the two public holidays overlap each other on 31st August, 1st September is declared as additional holiday… πŸ˜€

It was hazy since Friday… and it’s quite bad… but lucky it was raining heavily yesterday, 30th August, and today it was cloudy although the sun was shining in the afternoon for a few hours.

So what is best to do during the long holiday with the cooler weather?… well, cleaning up is one of them… so I decided to clean up some junks around… and today, I only manage to take out about 20% of my old junks which most of them are papers, magazines and books… but it’s enough to make some difference.

The other 80% are some more books, magazines, electronics stuffs and cloths… and there are large amount of cloths coz I have not thrown any cloths before I guess… or maybe I did once… πŸ˜›

Most of the cloths are shirts… casual or sport shirts and working shirts… they are not used so much especially the working shirts coz I grow size quite fast… πŸ˜› yeah, you should know what I mean… πŸ˜›

I don’t know what to do with those cloths… but friends advice me to donate them… but I donno where to donate them… the cloths might look new but probably rotten coz they were sitting in the cabinet for some years… if they are made of high quality linen like the matouk linen, probably they are still in good shape… πŸ˜›

Anyways, I still need to continue with the clearing tomorrow… not planning to do all the 80%… if I can do another 20%, that would be great…

racing heart beat

diet, diet pills, heart, heart failure, illegal, slimming pill

Some people are mad about body figures… man or woman… some do exercise, some prefer dieting and some are taking diet food or slimming pills… πŸ˜›

Recently, a friend was having some kind of heart problem… well not really serious but it seems that her heart goes faster sometimes for no reason… she went and see specialist, but they cant figure out what’s wrong with her… until the blood test came out…

It turn out that the slimming pill she was taking is causing or giving side effects to her heart… not only making her slim but also making her heart beat faster… πŸ˜›

That’s crazy… I mean, there are many slimming pills around… from certified pharmacies… and even from the mobile sellers which I believed do not have license to sell medicine… if people are not careful, they might die taking an illegal slimming pills…

If anyone needs slimming pills… make sure you are getting the safe and effective diet pills from a real doctor… and make sure the doctor is a trusted and professional… not the kind of doctor who simple sell pills to gain money… πŸ˜›

sports science

mount kinabalu, National Center for Education Statistics, online courses, physical therapy, sports science

I need to find something about sports science or something… … eBooks on sports science… online courses for sports science… I need anything as long it is about building stamina…

I’m trying to build my stamina and endurance for climbing mountain this October and November… I don’t want to miss this two outdoor adventure… Right now, I do feel I’m progressing with my weekend hiking training… and the other day, I found a video on how to breath properly… it said, must breath using your stomach so that more air can enter the lung and more oxygen can enter into your blood… πŸ˜› I tried it and it seems to be true… getting tired less… but the only problem is, it is hard to tell your brain to breath using your stomach… while hiking, I get confused whether to use my chest or tummy to breath… πŸ˜›

And getting cramp in the middle of nowhere is very scary… the last time I climb Mount Kinabalu, I got cramps on four places at the same time… on both my calves and on both my thighs. You can’t turn back coz no one is going back yet… the only way is to continue forward… and virtually I was crawling…Β  πŸ˜› Maybe this time I get an online degree programs in physical therapy to prepare myself… πŸ˜† I don’t want to experience it again… πŸ˜›

Anyways, if you are looking for college, you can use this link http://nces.ed.gov/collegenavigator/ to National Center for Education Statistics to narrow your search… it’s quite details… πŸ˜€

need cellular booster

3G, cellular, cellular booster, electronic, HSDPA

For the past two or three weeks, Celcom network seem to be very slow… sometimes it’s very hard for me to get on 3G data connection. I even went and change my SIM at Damai’s Celcom… and it still the same.

Those on Digi seem to be boasting about their super fast data connection… they said they’re browsing the internet with lightning speed… πŸ˜› Yea I know, Digi got those Turbo stuff on their network… and it only available in KK and Penang so far… when you go outstation, you will be crawling… not even a cellular booster or steroid will be able to help you… hahahaha…

Well, I have to stick with Celcom coz it has one of the biggest coverage around the country… I don’t have to worry about coverage when I go outstations… furthermore I have a good package with it… the P148 plan… with unlimited high speed internet… πŸ˜€ But unfortunately sometimes the 3G connection seem to be nowhere to be found… πŸ˜›

missed the webhosting offer

colocation, dedicated server hosting, managed hosting

Suddenly there are so many offers for webhosting… even locally! When I said locally, I mean locally as in the same town I’m working at… Probably offering web hosting is a good business nowadays… πŸ˜› Recently I posted about a cheap dedicated servers hosting offer which I missed… coz the offer was very limited πŸ™

Well… the good offer is over and I missed it, so I have to stick with whatever my current managed hosting giving me until there will be another good offer in the future… hopefully there will be another one… Or hopefully, in the near future, someone going to build an enterprise-class facility for server colocation here locally… who knows?… so that I can rent a rack and put all my servers there… πŸ˜† πŸ˜‰

Anyways, I’m satisfied with what I have right now… but it just that access to my sites gets very slow sometimes… but that could be caused by the undersea internet cables get snapped sometimes… which usually happened when there is earthquake undersea or tsunami.

building fitness

Amphibx Fit, h2o audio, kmart coupon, mount kinabalu, Sport Headphones, Surge 2G, waterproof

This year, I’m planning to climb Mount Kinabalu twice… well, I don’t know if I’m fit enough to do it… the first one will be with our department’s sports club in October… and the second one will be with a group of friends in November… October climb is more then 50% confirmed. As for the November climb, it still depends on everyone’s commitment and fitness. Mount Kinabalu is 4,095 metres or 13,435 feet high. The trail to summit is about 7+ kilometres. It’s a long climbing trail.

Currently I’m trying to build my fitness… especially my endurance… I sit, eat and sleep too much… I’ve tried climbing the small hill at Bukit Padang… which is only like 150 metres high with trail about 900 metres… it was quite hard… :p And I’ve downloaded a training software called runtastic for my Samsung Android phone which can track the distance, altitude, speed and some other stuffs. To protect my phone from being knocked, sweat or rain, I bought the H2O Audio Amphibx Fit Waterproof Armband and the H2O Audio Surge 2G Waterproof Sport Headphones. I bought them online from H2O Audio… it’s quite expensive coz they are waterproof… but the courier charge made it super expensive… πŸ˜› But lucky I manage to get a 15% discount coupon for the items.

Usually when I buy stuff online, I will Google for coupon code first before I checkout. You can easily find coupons codes shared on the net… you just have to search for it. For instance, if you shop a lot from KMart online store, you can easily saves coz there are loads of kmart coupons on the net. When I Google for H2O Audio coupon, I found one which gives 5% discount. But when I register for the H2o Audio newsletter, they email me the subscription confirmation together with a 15% coupon code πŸ˜€

mugs

Canon, mug, nikon, thermos

MUGs… there are so many around… all kind of shapes and sizes… in the office, I have one, all of us in the office has one mug each… our office bought them using our petty-cash… and mine, white mug, is the biggest with yellow flower printed on it… I think it was sunflower… and weird, although it already like 3 years old I never took a photo of it… I must take a photo of my mug… I will put it at the bottom of this post once I have it… πŸ˜›

There are many customized coffee mugs for sale on the net… and I have been eying for the Canon lens replica mugs… yes, the mugs are the size of the real cannon lens… there are two of them… the Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens mug and the Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L USM lens mug. The second one is more like a thermos coz it is taller.

Both of them are not only good for drinking but as display or collectible… and there is also a Nikon replica, but I’m not interested with that coz I’m a Canonian πŸ˜€

cheap Dedicated Server Hosting

dedicated server hosting, shared server hosting, webhosting

Today, received a webhosting promo mail… the offer was so amazing that I have to talk to their online chat support…

Imagine for just RM199 per month you can get a dedicated server hosting… that is bloody cheap coz the average price in the market is RM399 per month!!!

The shared server hosting I’m having is about RM499 a year… compared to the hot deal offer… RM199 x 12 = RM2388 a year… yea, that’s RM1,889 extra a year… but shared server hosting is like living in a dormitory with 300 people inside… while dedicated server hosting is like living in your own bungalow with your own access road… Not like the shared server hosting where you have to share the stairs, the bathroom, the toilet, etc… πŸ˜›

The offer is for a limited time only… should I get that?…
