I don’t know what’s the first thing come to your mind when you hear apple bottoms?… when I saw that words the first time, I thought it’s about a new Apple iPad or iPhone… but it has nothing close to that thingy. It’s actually a brand… a brand name for ladies jeans… you know like Levis, Texan, etc… and apple bottoms is not just about jeans, there are mini skirts, jackets, sweat suits, etc…

Do you know that samsung lcd screens are the most used lcd in the world folowed by toshiba?… yes that is true.

Around the world, Samsung’s lcd are in most computer screens, tablet screens and handphone screens. If you look at the Apple’s iPhone and Samsung’s Galaxy S handphone, they are almost identical… because both are using samsung lcd screen.

They are so identical that Apple is suing Samsung for copyrights… buy hey, of course they are identical coz most of their hardware is from the same factory… 😛

Today, learned about life insurance… again… 😀 When buying life insurance, usually the insurance agent will only quote you with term life insurance, whole life insurance or seniors life insurance.

But there is another variant of life insurance… it is called universal life insurance. It is a little bit different from the other term life insurance coz its policy can be maintained indefinitely… giving policy holder flexibility, transparency, and affordability.

I hate it when I don’t have appetite to eat… yea, it’s weird… eating is one of my favourite activity 😛 and it’s almost like obligation coz if I skip food, I will get migraine. But today, I feel no appetite… well, I feel like going to be sick… my mouth feel numbs… I don’t know why… probably caused by the food I eat this afternoon.

I lose weight very fast… especially when I’m sick and no appetite to eat… skipping food for a couple of days will show weight loss… so if I want to lose weight, I don’t have to diet, take apidexin, etc. etc… I just have to skip food for a couple of days… 😛

Anyways, I manage to force myself to eat the dinner just now… maybe I’ve been eating too much last week and this week… last week was eating lots of Japanese food, beef and pork in KL… this week, eat more pork and Korean food back home… well, I just hope I don’t fall sick coz there are many work to finish… 😛

Is it the right time to buy precious metal like gold today?… Right now, there are news flying around about wealthy people dumping their stock market for precious metal… so maybe it is the right time to buy gold bullion.

In fact, last week I saw a bank advertisement on the paper offering gold investment… the bank is offering  gold coins and gold bullion investment account. I never buy gold before… so I have no idea how is gold investment works. When we invest gold with the bank, do we buy the real metal gold or just the certificate?…

But whatever it is, better do some research on gold investment now… who knows the world future economy trend is going downward… :p

Was in KL since last Sunday, 3rd July, attending course from Monday to Thursday and stayed till today, Sunday, 10th July… coz I wanted to see BERSIH 2.0 on Saturday.. 😀

The police started blocking roads going into central KL on Thursday… and it caused massive jam! Public transports were halted, so I stayed in my hotel room instead. And I was worried they continue blocking the road till Sunday coz I need to catch my flight at 5.30pm, Sunday. If they block the roads until Sunday or declare ‘darurat’, I’ll be stuck in KL… worse, I’m running out of money coz shopping too much… 😛 Where can I get cash advances if I really runs out of money?… What happen if my credit card can’t get through when paying?… Luckily, the BERSIH 2.0 was truly a PEACEFUL WALK so no bad thing happened but UNITY. Back home now and going to work tomorrow… 😛

When you were at a sports shop, I’m sure you’ve seen some colourful rubber bracelet or necklace inside the glass display or hanging on the display cabinet. Well, you must have seen the metal type too…

What are these colourful stuffs?… Some of them are just plain rubber bracelet printed with sports brand or team and some with hard black thingy on it like stone… If you still don’t know what are they, the one with the black thingy on it are called power bracelet or aura bracelet… the black thingy usually magnets, but some are special stones… rare stones… and they cost more than the plain rubber bracelets.

The metal bracelets with rare stones or magnets cost extremely higher compared to the rubber type. They looks more like jewellery… usually golfer wear these… and people just called it golfers bracelet… but I guess it depends what sports the wearer play… if the wearer play tennis, they probably called it tennis bracelet…

What so special with these bracelets?… According to the text printed on its box, it helps relieve or relax the body… 😛 How true? I have no I idea… But lots claims it really do have some power or healing capabilities… I used the rubber type when I was playing golf before, but not for long… probably the reason I did not feel anything…

GOLF… yea… golf was the game I used to love to play and watch on TV… but that was a long time ago… I’ve stop playing golf for more than two years… one reason was most of my golf buddy stopped playing or changed their sports… yea, change to more extreme sports like paintball… 😀

Another reason was my back injuries… playing golf looks easy… just put the little ball on the ground and whack it with a stick… the club. I can do that and have lots of strength… my biggest problem. You see, I don’t like warming up… whether at the driving range or course. After hurting some of my muscles, especially my back and spine, then only I realized how important it is to warm up your muscles before playing.

Well, what can I do?… I learned golf not through certified instructor, but by just following and learning from friends… big mistake if you are not discipline and lazy like me. Friends can’t force you to do things… you can change the rules to your liking… if they asked you to warm up, you can just ignore it… 😛 If they teach you this way, you can do it the other way… 😛

Now, after more than two years, I started noticing my golf bag again… who is sitting at the corner of the corridor… pity, it’s getting rusty. My back injuries is gone now… lately I feel like playing golf again… you know the urge to do what you used to enjoy before… but if I want to play golf again, this time I must get a certified instructor… probably even enrolls into junior Golf Schools if I have to… 😆 Yea, why not? It will be fun to learn from the basic… 😀

In less than a week, the Sabah Paintball League Cup 2011 2nd Leg will kick-off… that’s on 25-26 June 2011. The first leg was held on 12-13 March 2011. Just like the first leg, it will be held at the same venue at KK Paintball Centre Field in Likas Sports Complex.

There will be more than 20 teams participating in the tournament namely… HOODLUMS, TRIBE-X, SPLATZ1, MIGHTY OWL, BOOMSLANG, TRIBE-X II, CARCASS, TXT, ROKKEAN, BRIZZIO, BAKAKUK SYNDIKETZ, PAINMISH, DRACONE, NOUNTUN, TIMBUL TENGGELAM HUNTERS, UNCLE HORNET, PEMUDA PBS TAMPARULI, SM TEKNIK LIKAS, NBE, THE HEADHUNTERS, PANTERA and CHUPACABRA.

Although it is raining most of the time lately, we are hoping for a good weather during the tournament. And hopefully, the teams will be more better equipped with new markers, goggle/mask and jersey… and possibly with barska scope if that is allowed by the organizer… 😀

Last week, a group of us went to Putrajaya and Cyberjaya for study tour… about ICT Security. It was a great tour… learn a few things… and it was the time the Anonymous was going to attack Malaysia. We went to 4 agencies… one of them is Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission… getting into their office is like going through the airport security… have to surrender and seal our hand phone and go through the body scanner…

And at the end of the tour at each agency, we were given souvenir… more like promotional items. Usually the most common souvenir is promotional pens with logo… but the one we received are much unique… one is pen holder with clock which I like very much… and the other is umbrella… and guess what, we can’t bring the umbrella into the airplane… and it can’t fit into our luggage too… no choice, we have to check it in as part of our luggage and hope it won’t break… and surprisingly when we pick our luggage and the umbrella at KKIA, it was in perfect condition… now I know that I can throw in anything as check-in item and it will be safe… hopefully. But I’m not sure if fragile items is safe when check-in on a small plane like the ATR 72-500 from MasWings…
