Chinese New Year just over a week ago… there are all kind of feelings… some said it was quite… some said it was fantastic… well, sure it depends who said it… as for me, it was noisy but I had a bad cough… not really cough but wheezing lung… it started 3 days before the CNY… lucky I did not experience any bad sore throat although I was coughing quite bad till I can taste blood in my throat on the second day of the infection. As usual, I try not to take any medicine other than Vitamin C… I was consuming about 2000mg of Vitamin C every night… and I guess it really helps although my lung was wheezing every night… but it’s almost gone now 😀

Food… yea, food… foods are everywhere… fresh and junk… was eating tons of pork, duck, chicken, lamb… even after the long public holiday, there are still foods served… in the office… on Tuesday, the QS section treat the whole office with CNY lunch… lamb… lamb… lamb… yea I just wack the lamb… then tomorrow, our section gonna have CNY lunch at Hyatt… weeeee… lamb… lamb… lamb… again… 😀 I think my tummy has gone up 1 or 2 inches… 😛 gonna need some adapexin-p to burn all those belly fats… and I have not visited the gym since my last visit in November last year… 😛 Hope to get back on track soon… coz the junk in the containers are evil… I’m like an addict… after dinner, I will automatically reach for the containers and grab… grab… those junks… 😛

Most of the time, itchy eyes are caused by foreign object like dust or sand entered into the eye. And to clean it, I usually just runs the tap water across my eye. Or if it’s visible, I can just use a clean tissue which made into fine tip so that I can pick the object out from my eyes.

But sometimes itchy eyes are cause by smoke or haze too… we usually don’t realize it but the smoke or haze entered our eyes everyday… and when we are sick or weak, eyes also gets itchy. My eyeballs usually feel painful when I have headache… and the headache don’t go away easily if I don’t do something to my eyes… so what do I do to my eyes to get rid of headache?… I use cold eye drops… yea, I put the eye drops bottle inside the fridge for about 2 minutes before putting any into my eyes… the cold feeling just freeze everything… and the headache usually go away soon… 😀

So I was a bit week lately… including cough… and my eyes are feeling itchy and blurry… so yesterday I went and buy a bottle of eye lotion… it’s for bathing my eyes… yea, you probably don’t know that you can give bath to your eyes… and you should do this from time to time… to clean anything inside your eyes… it’s a pack of Optrex Eye Lotion with eye bath… eye bath?… yea, it sound funny… the pack comes with a bottle of eye lotion and one cup which looks like clawfoot tubs… the tub is a little bit small coz probably my eyes are big… but it just fine… pour some lotion into it then fix it onto your eye… once you are done, everything will look clear… 😀

Yea, the sound of fireworks are deafening the midnight right now… it’s like war out there… well, the sound is like war in the movie… not really sure how war is coz never experience any… and I’m not wishing for one… please, no war… glad the peace are always with us here 😀

So what do I expect for this rabbit year?… well, other than all those I mentioned above… I just want one more thing… during the Consumer Electronics Show 2011 last month… it’s undeniable that android dominated the show!!! Yea… everything was about android phones… android tablets… all are about Google!!!…Even Apple was not dare this time to showcase their iPad and iPhone…

But I don’t fancy all these android thingy… I do own one android tablet… the CSL Spice MI700… but that’s all about it… just an oversize smart phone. What I really want is the HP Slate… yea, the Windows 7 Pro tablet from HP… the SLATE!!!… It was launched in US late last year… I really wish it to be available here soon… with higher spec!!! What so great about this slate?… Well as you can see, it’s running on Windows 7… that’s mean it’s a pc… a smaller pc… a tablet pc… or whatever you like to call it… campared to adroid tablet or iPad, slate is a fully functional tab like a desktop pc… you can do almost anything you have on your desktop… flash… Photoshop… almost anything that runs on Windows 7… I really hope it will reach here soon… I want SLATE!!! I HATE iPAD!!!

February… where almost everyone call it the love month… it’s the month of pink… red… purple… or any colors lovers loves 😀 Cupid will be busy this month… arrowing couples… 😆

Florist… gifts shop… cards shop… chocolates shop… all gonna be busy and make extra this month… everything will be in heart shape… wrap with lovely colorful papers… lovely ribbons… pasted with love poems on beautiful card… even the address labels on the red envelope are decorated with hearts… sprayed with lovely smells… 😛

Yes, February is the love month… the cupid month… 😀

I was surprised to received two out station calls today… about 10 minutes apart… and it was quite early… around 9.30am… I just woke up at that time… 😛 The first call was from a friend… asking about paintball… 😛 And he was in Kelantan I think… playing woodsball… :p He never play woodsball, so he needed some advice… errr… I’m not really a player… I’m more on taking paintball photos… 😛

The second call was more interesting… the call is from Penang… the lady on the other side was speaking quite low… and sounded scared… emm… she wanted to talk to me… so I said, yea sure… then she started talking about my web hosting… emm… ok… she explained that she only called to remind me that the domain I registered is going to expire next week… oh no… I just remember… it’s not mine but my cousin’s… I helped him to register two domains for his law firm about two years ago… one with .com and another with .com.my. And registering the .com.my was not easy… it was crazy… to be able to register the .com.my domain, we have to provide all kind of documents like company registration and some other stuff which I don’t remember… yea, it was a bit tedious… but we manage to do it at last.

Anyways, I told her it’s a bit surprising that she called to remind me about that coz usually I received the reminder through email… she said they just want to make sure I receive the notice of the domain’s expiry since next week gonna be a long holiday… yea, next week is going to be long holiday for the Chinese New Year… so I said thanks, and I will renew it immediately.

When I registered the two domains two years ago, it came with a hosting plan… not a managed hosting but a shared hosting. Actually it depends what you need the hosting for… since law firm only need to display static pages most of the time and no online transactions, shared hosting is good enough… But after a year… the first year… I terminated the hosting package and continue renewing the two domains. Then I add the domains into my unlimited hosting package… yea, I have the unlimited hosting package where I can add as many domains as I like… 😀 Unless my cousin’s want to have his own dedicated server, he can opt for colocation package… he can have full control of the server… but for now, I let his domains added into my hosting… 😀

Chinese New Year is just around the corner… to be exact, it’s on 2nd and 3rd and 4th February this year… yeah, it’s going to be celebrated for two days… every year CNY is celebrated for two days. Business will be closed… some may even close for a week… or two… 😛

Lion dance troupes will be roaming around… yea… tung tung chang… that’s how we called lion dance when we were kids… coz that’s how the drums and cymbals sounded like… tung chang… tung tung chang… 😀

Yes, lion dance is one of the main attraction during CNY… but there is another attraction which will make everyone eyes glow… the red packet or the red envelope… yea, the ang pau… the kids loves these red packets… coz these packets are filled with money… 😀

And since CNY is very close to Valentine Day, and if you are running out of time to look for valentines gifts or running out of romantic valentines gift ideas, probably these red packets can be substitutes this time… who don’t love red packets filled with monies?… 😀

This year it’s the year of rabbit in Chinese calendar… I hope more luck for me this year… and great health too… 😀

Time to renew the hosting and the domain again… and some other domains too, but not at the same time of course… coz I did not buy all of them at the same time. This gonna be the 4th year… and I have changed the hosting package once… for a better deal of course… and so far I’m satisfied with my web hosting.

Originally I bought a normal package… which has limited storage, bandwidth, database, park domain, email size, etc… coz I started with one domain only. So when I started to register more domains without hosting plan with them, then I realize the hosting package I have is not enough… not suitable… I can’t do addon domains… I can only park domains… coz the hosting I have is Windows… which has loads of limitation… everything need to pay…

To solve my problem, I change my package to Linux… and it is the Linux unlimited hosting package… unlimited addon domain, park domain, storage, bandwidth, database, etc… but of course it is slightly more expensive… but I’m satisfied… everything with it are unlimited… 😀

The other day, I read a friend’s blog about personal DNA… it’s not really about getting some life tissues or saliva or blood from you… but more like to find out your true character… 😛 The test don’t even need you to go away from your PC, you just have to answer eleven groups of questions… and roughly it takes about 30 minutes to complete.

So I tried it, and after completing answering the questions, it says “you are a generous leader”… wow… if I join politics now, I’m the one you all have to vote… I’m a ‘leader’ and ‘generous’… not like the many scum bag politicians out there… 😛 I’m gonna preserve the results… maybe I’m gonna put it as a huge plaques and put it on the display cabinet… 😀 Here is the DNA maps:

Looking at the results and cross checking with the questions and answer, I believe if you answer it truthfully, it will give you a ‘result’… so what you answer today will tell what you are today… but if you answer how you feel few years back, it will tell who you are few years back… and few years from today, if you answer the questions again, it will tell you who you are on that day. By archiving the result… then comparing it with your result in the future will definitely show different… changes… So, as of today, I’m a leader and generous… OK, that’s fine… but in future I can be something else… hopefully it will say “you are a wealthy leader”… 😛

The weather nowadays is not only cold but wet… it’s raining everyday… every evening… sometimes until midnight or throughout the night. And it’s not the casual rain type… it is the super heavy rain… if you are inside a car, the feeling is like someone keep on throwing buckets of water on the roof of the car… like someone is playing games… throwing water games… 😛

And outdoor lighting is very important since it gets darker earlier than usual… driving home after work with the heavy rain is quite challenging since visibility is very short… and it will be worse when the road is without street lights.

I’m not really against the heavy rain… it’s much better than having hot weather or droughts… I always like rain… the normal rain… especially the rain in the afternoon, then the sun appears after that… it makes the ambient lights fantastic… usually the sunlight shining on the mountain… Mount Kinabalu… just amazing… the mountain will be so clear… coz there will be no clouds surrounding it… the direct sunlight shining on it just amazing… you can even see the instant water falls on it… :O

And tomorrow I have to go UMS… no, I’m not enrolling with any study courses or anything… I’m not interested studying anymore… I got some seminar to attend there… 😛

I’m always feeling sleepy lately… I do feel sleepy all the time before but lately it seems that sleep is always not enough for me… I feel very sleepy especially during afternoon. Like last Friday, after lunch, I lock my office door and sleep… not really sleep coz I was sitting on my chair and try to sleep… I did get a short nap I think… probably about 15 to 20 minutes. And sleeping in sitting position is very tiring… I mind did feel less sleepy after that but my body feel more tired…

Probably I have not done any exercise for some times… my last visit to the gym was in mid November last year… yea, I really need to wake up all my muscles… I think they are all enjoying sleeping and building fats… 😛 But I don’t really care if I’m building fats but I really need to feel fresh so that I can work better… energized! I can always burn all those fats latter with mens fat burner exercise in the gym…

I should plan my exercise soon… maybe this week… errr… maybe next week… I hope I can make some time to visit the gym again… I really need to do some running… on the thread mills… 😛 Not really into losing weight but to rejuvenates my power… I need to be recharged… reenergized… even while writing this I feel so sleepy… Maybe I should use the stairs… runs up and down… just like what my friend told me this evening… he wanted to lose some weight… by running up and down on the stairs at home… 😛
