Saturday Quickie

food

Today, went to help a friend to send his car to the workshop. He just want to check and service his Prado brake since he is going outstation on monday.

Then we went to Wan Wan for breakfast. I did mentioned before about ‘I tried to avoid this place’… but since someone is paying the food, I follow only lah.

I parked behind the shop… there were so many cars and customers… parking also susah… so laku lah this place. As usual, can’t find the ‘fly’… lalat… and they are drying the fish scales… according to the workers, it is used for medicine 😮

After breakfast, we went to UMW Toyota at Asia City… to see the new RUSH… I will tell about that later.

Then we went to Kota Kinabalu City Bird Sanctuary to kill time and also to take photos… I will tell about that later too 😀

No FLY…

No FLY also… what chemical are they using to chase away the fly?… are they using ‘toyol’?

Mexican Chicken Dance on Fire

food

Chicken lovers, this one is for you… How do you make your grilled chicken into Mexican chicken! Easy, you marinate it for the whole night with the super tasty El Pollo Loco’s citrus marinate. Then you grilled it with the beautiful charcoal fire at your backyard.

Before it turns into golden brown, invite some of your friends to enjoy your El Pollo Loco’s citrus-marinated Mexican chicken. While enjoying your Mexican chicken with your friends, do some Mexican Hat Dance or if you have enough people, do the Mexican Wave! You want to see what others do with their Mexican chicken, watch their flame-grilling antics videos at www.wherestheflamegrill.com

No work today

food, life

Today no work… it’s public holiday today. I woke up around 6.30am… then continued sleeping until a friend called around 11.00am for breakfast and to go some places. I get ready and went to pick him.

We had our breakfast at Taman Chantek near Lido. I had my favorite Kon Low Mee with pork meat… then added another bowl of noodle… one bowl is not enough.

After breakfast we went to some car accessories shops… well, just to update our self with what available in the market now…

Dim-Sum containers.

Since it is further up from Dalit Bay Golf & Country Club, I told my 2 friends about it last Sunday and set a planned to play golf today around 2pm… errrr… meaning we are going to do half day AWOL 🙂 They even challenged me if I dare to play since I’m the most ‘malas’ (lazy) to play… they even said, ‘Jangan cabar kami!’… translation… “Don’t dare us!”… chechhhh… Tembiraaaaanggg …

So, come today… while having my free lunch, I SMS one of them asking what time to t-off. When reply come… saaaad saaaad… alasaaaaannnnnnn (excuse) lagiiii.. leg painful lah… gout lah… chechhh…

Then called the other, this one also 2×5! Still in the office with bos!!! Konon!!!… excuseeeeeee … excuse… So, decided to play around 3pm…

After lunch, then site visits around the resort… we completed before 2pm. Called him again… Stiillllll in the office… So I cancelled lah our game…

Because of that, got no mood to write about the food testing now…

Visit to Beaufort

food, work

Today I went to Beaufort to fix the network at our branch office. We started our journey around 9am. We stop over at Papar district for a drink. We stop over at a place called ‘pasar’… it is actually a food court.

On the table are packets of ‘keropok’.

My drink…. ‘teh o ping’…. iced tea! 🙂

yummy…. my food…. ‘roti kosong’.

Pricing for ‘bakso’…. food originated from Indonesia I think. It was in one of the game in the 1st AXN Amazing Race Asia.

A boy enjoying his bakso…. too bad, I didn’t took the bakso picture.

Beaufort Railway Station.

My action gear….
