Recently, on 16th September, I attended the Malaysia Day celebration at Padang Merdeka, Kota Kinabalu just like every other year. Every year, Sabah and Sarawak celebrate this day and it is also a public holiday to both states. But this year, this is the first time the whole nation enjoy the public holiday together… I’m sure a lot of you out there asking ‘Why only Sabah and Sarawak before?’… yea, seems Malaya don’t appreciate this day before… Every Malaysian must celebrate this day coz there was no country called Malaysia before that date 1963!

Anyway, I went there together with my colleague… and met with the others over there around 8pm… we arrived KK earlier and park quite a distance from the field… and we stop at one of the shop to have our dinner.

The atmosphere in the field is not very gallant… looks normal for a big celebration. As usual, almost everyone has a digital cameras, so taking photos is something a must. We actually entered some prohibited areas to take photos till one big rank police officer approached and explained to us politely that we must not stay at that area for too long else the rest of the crowd will join in 😛 OK boss…

So, the rest of the night went… errmmmm… ok lah… no big deal… but there was a bigger deal I have to go through after that… I was very thirsty, so we decided to go back 10 pm something… and we stop at the former Sugar Bun… I had my second dinner there… and that’s where I found out that my Canon EOS LCD cracked!!… holly crap… I can’t afford another new digital SLR camera… 😛

But lucky, when I bought my Canon EOS 40D about three years ago, I installed a LCD protector… not a plastic type but a scratch-proof glass… and in fact that glass has protected the LCD firmly… the side of the glass chipped more than a year ago… it did not crack… but this time but both side has chipped and that two chipped areas joined together to form the crack across the center of the glass… but no worries… 😀

I went to replace the glass protector a few days latter… and a new glass protector cost RM88… and when I was in the shop, I saw a Manfrotto  776YB monopod… priced at RM155, I took one of the monopod and together with the new glass protector, it cost me RM160… you do the math… 😛

There was a news from Singapore about grouper fish yesterday… it was reported that a restaurant in Singapore has bought a male grouper fish from Sabah. I can’t recall how much the restaurant paid for the fish, but the news is not just about the fish… but what inside the fish’s belly.

The restaurant manage to collect a kilogram of sperm from the belly of the male grouper… and it was valued a few thousand dollars… but the restaurant is not selling the sperm alone for a quick bucks yet. It is believed that consuming the fish sperm will bring lots of benefits… good health, sex libido… 😛 Sound disgusting… but some do consume weird stuffs… if consuming fish sperm is good, I think using the fish sperm as face cream will makes skin healthy, smooth, wrinkle free… 😆 So ladies, the next time you go to the market, make sure you buy a male fish with loads of sperms in it… 😆

According to the restaurant, a kilogram of sperm can make 80 bowls of sperm soup :O and the price for a bowl of sperm soup is almost 200 dollars :O so if you calculate that, that will turn about 16,000 dollars :O Not bad for selling sperm 😛

Sea weed contains high nutritional values… and we talk about see week, Japan is the biggest consumer… and that’s where most of the dried sea weed comes from… and of course it is one of the important ingredient in sushi making… to wrap the rice rolls.

Dried sea weed also very high in magnesium, vitamin and iron…  probably the best appetite suppressant for women 😀 These nutritional values are good for preventing diabetes and heart attacks. It also contains very high with riboflavin and niacin… a good supplement to promote fast tissue regeneration or tissue repair.

I like eating sea weed… usually sold in packets in the supermarket. But the other day at the City Mall’s Giant supermarket, I saw something disturbing… someone has tear one of the sea weed packet… probably to taste on it for free… 😛 ermm… should I do the same?… 😛

There are thousand way to do diet… one is to stop eating… I mean reduce your food intake… then you can also do exercise… but eating is something everyone can’t avoid… i need lots of food… everyday… 😛

Eating and exercise is a good combination if you want to have a healthy body… I eat a lot but at the same time try to do exercise like going to gym… don’t take drugs… you going to regret it… even taking diet pills is not good… must be careful if you are taking or plan to take diet pills… if not sure what are the diet or slimming pills, click here to see reviews about diet pills…

Dieting should not done excessively… it’s bad to your body and health… it even make you look ugly after dieting… just like the winner of the first season The Biggest Loser Asia… after reducing his weight tremendously…. now he looks more sick I think… although he could be healthy… but the looks is so bad… more like skinny and stressed… 😛

O yeah panda eyes… this is what you get when sleeping late every day… black circle around your eyes as if you just received a blow on your face… right on your eye.. 😛 Some may think you are wearing makeup… eye shadows?… and to some very conscious ‘ladies’, they will use under eye cream to hide those black circles… 😛 but that cream will not hide your sleepy eyes… 😛

Anyway, lack of sleep not only gives you dark circles around your eyes, it gives you blurry vision… trying to stay awake and staying late is not good to your vision… you see, when you sleep late, your eyes tend to get blurry… and this blurry thingy can go on until midday or more… and it can cause migraine 😛 So get enough sleep if you a healthy visions 😀

For the past few days, has been sleeping very late… 2am… 3am… 4am… 😛 Feel lazy to sleep I guess… I was just sitting in front of the notebook… surfing… and surfing to nowhere… 😛

Because of sleeping late for four days continuously, lack of sleep has weaken all my body system… I feel like walking on air right now… and I’m started sneezing a lot… and when I sneeze a lot, that’s the sign my immune system has gone down… I guess the 1000mg  Vitamin C I take every day need to be boosted with multiple vitamin and supplement foods so that I can re-stabilize my body immune system… 😛

But I think I should take some BRAND’S Essence of Chicken first to regenerate my lost energy… and because it’s very tasty and gives me appetite to eat more… 😀

Some people enjoy planting flowers… some enjoy planting vegetables… some have to do it coz that is what they do for living and they are called farmers… or you can also call them outddor planter 😛 and these outdoor planters are important to our food supply… just like the fisherman. Without them we will not get our vegetables or fruits or fish supplies.

But today everyone can be a farmer… not because they are forced to do it but because today, planting are easier… anyone can be an indoor planter!… yes, you can grow your vegetable indoor… but if you don’t like it inside the house, outside at the balcony will do… you don’t even need a piece of land to do this type of farming. You just need some good soil, buckets and the seedlings… and if you have a green finger, your vegetables without will bloom beautifully…

My mom has been planting chillies using plastic bags for sometimes… and they grow very fast. Space is not a problem… just arrange the plastic bags and you can have lots of them… some neighbours plant tomatoes, eggplants, ‘limau nipis’, ‘limau kasturi’ and some other fruity type vegetables… you should try planting vegetables using pots, planters or plastic bags… and enjoy eating them when they are mature 😆

If you need to build a house in the desert, what kind of house you going to build? If you don’t want the house to become super heated during the day, you definitely not going to build a metal building type of house 😛 Come on… you can’t build a house full of metal in the desert or even next to the sea… it’s going to be very hot inside and get rusty easily if built next to the sea.

So, you need to follow what the local tribes in Africa or other tribes around the world who are living in hot and harsh weather condition. What do they use to build their houses?… well, they use clay or cow dung!!! 😆 yea cow dung… 😛 But I’m sure it won’t be smelly once the cow dung dried… unless it rains… but no worries, rain don’t comes that often in the desert 😛

Anyways, here is an amazing and weird earth home… the earthship called Sol Ship can be found in New Mexico… and it is for sale with a price tag of $265,000.00 and comes with one-bed and one-bath only… and off from the power grid too, meaning no electricity 😛 but uses passive solar thermomass construction that heats and cools the interior.

But to make it less boring inside, it has an indoor koi pond and hand-plastered walls with whimsical sculpted displays around the fireplace and walls… and to make sure you don’t get dehydrated, there are two underground, 3000-gallon cisterns hold water… don’t you think it looks scary? 😛

A couple of weeks ago, there was a big news about the gold dinar issued by the Kelantan government. They wants to make gold in dinar as one of their daily currency… to be closer and more like middle eastern… or Arab country I supposed 😛 As the whole world knows, we already have our ringgit as our currency… and it has been accepted worldwide since it was issued long time ago.

If the government of Kelantan go ahead with the plan, it will make the business go up-side-down… because gold prices fluctuate every minutes around the world. For example, the price of a piece of 10gm gold dinar will go up or down in every minute based on worldwide gold price index. If that happens, every shops have to have the most current gold price index to refer before closing their transaction or before charging their customers!

Anyways, do you know that spot gold price or price of gold is set or ‘fixed’ in London by 5 banks? Yes, the gold spot is fixed by only 5 banks and they are NM Rothchild & Sons, Sharps Wilkins, Pixley & Abell, Samuel Montagu & Co., Mocatta & Goldsmid. And this gold price ‘fixing’ has been going on since September 12th 1919 which was started by gold bullion traders and refiners at that time.

Facebook has revolutionize many things in our life… well, not all but probably most… today, facebook is not only used for connecting with others around the world but it is also used for making money scheme 😛 I’m sure some of you have received invitations… group invitation… where you can make money by just registering to the group… so easy to make money 😛 I’m not really sure if it works coz I never register any although I’ve received many… and all kind of it 😛 But some posted on their facebook wall telling that they did make money… how true? I don’t know… 😛

Facebook can also be used for advertising… for free… It’s so easy to spread your adverts in facebook… it’s called viral advertising…  Let’s say you want to sell Marc Jacobs handbags, all you have to do is take a photos of the handbag, upload it to your facebook and tag all your friends on the photos… but of course you are currently limited to 50 tags on each photo by facebook… but imagine the impact and outreach of it… if each of your 50 friends has 10 friends… you are reaching 50×10 people in a just seconds and it is free!… and it still will ‘viral’ to your friend’s friends… friends… friends… 😛
